11th November, so would be silly quick! We're both employed, FTB, 83.1% LTV, borrowing 2.6x income - my husband falls into one of those 'we might consider 6x' professions but I have an affordable but sizeable credit card balance. Weren't expecting to start this process yet, we're just jumping on a property we've both loved forever that has unexpectedly come to market so my nerves are shot waiting - I will be devastated if we lose it!0

5th October! So it’s been almost 7 weeks. I am employed but OH is self employed so we had to give extra info a few times!mowgliisaG said:
Congrats Daisy, 5th oct or Nov?? Your both employed or SE?Daisyy8 said:Our offer went in on the 5th and today and broker called to say they had approved the offer! Just waiting for proper work to be sent out! It felt like the longest wait but worth it in the end

The applications going back to UW after further information queue hasn’t moved in about three days now, so frustrating!0

Fingers crossed for you. We are the same date 11th November long wait ahead but we sold our house in May and purchased this one in September but due to having to wait for my other halves business year to end so we can use higher recent figures we had to wait until 11th November so the next wait ahead already feels like we've been on this a lifetime! And our cash buyer won't wait forever xyousnorkmaiden said:11th November, so would be silly quick! You know what?! I think that’s where you go when it’s subject to valuation or something, I know it’s positive though! It seems crazy quick but maybe you’re one of the ones that just sails through 😅😅yousnorkmaiden said:
It sounds like a less stressful/pained place to be vs my head at the moment! I am new to this: if they have the valuation report that's good given we submitted on the 11th? Feels quick? Or am I grasping at straws?Meh123 said:
Ahhh I’ve heard of this magical centre before I think but can’t remember what happens there!! We've been really lucky! I just hope the valuation will be ok. The valuation has been done previously and came back ok when we applied with Leeds BS. Does that mean it should be ok this time as well?22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
23/11 - mortgage offer issued
19/12 - completed1 -
Broker says they have the valuation. I dare not get my hopes up!Meh123 said:
