I was totally not expecting it today!!! :D fingers crossed the valuation will be ok (it's a newbuild, the valuation has been done by Leeds BS before and it came back ok, hopefully this one will be fine too)
OMG congrats!!! I think mine took longer than that to even have the initial assessment!! Glad everything’s sorted for you after the nightmare with the first application!
    Get that wine open! 😂😂
I am just getting ready to go shopping, I'm going for the most expensive bottle of rosé from Lidl 😂 After a morning full of tantrums performed by my 2yo (because he didn't want to put his socks on) a glass to celebrate and a glass to calm down
22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
    12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
    23/11 - mortgage offer issued
    19/12 - completed
