    Hi All,
Been lurking here for a couple of weeks to gain some much needed hope!
I am employed full time (I was furloughed during first lockdown, business not affected this time around) my partner has a Limited company.
Applied for our mortgage on 20/10
    Sent to underwriters 26/10
Hoping we get to the front of the queue by this time next week the way things are moving on the website.
Hi! We went to underwriting the same time as you and we’re hoping for the same with the queue!! Hopefully they’ll keep it up with shifting through them!
  • Does seem like things are speeding up with the underwriters! Praying for more good news tomorrow for people. 🙏🏻

    Me to! 😁
  • Our offer went in on the 5th and today and broker called to say they had approved the offer! Just waiting for proper work to be sent out! It felt like the longest wait but worth it in the end :)

Congrats Daisy, 5th oct or Nov?? Your both employed or SE?
  • Our MB just informed me he's expecting us to be passed to the 'mortgage centre' tomorrow; is that good news or just another term for underwriters?! They are in receipt of valuation.

Ahhh I’ve heard of this magical centre before I think but can’t remember what happens there!! However, it’s always seemed to be a good and positive place to be!!

It sounds like a less stressful/pained place to be vs my head at the moment! I am new to this: if they have the valuation report that's good given we submitted on the 11th? Feels quick? Or am I grasping at straws?

Good luck, is this the 11th Oct or November? We had our valuation on Tuesday I was kind of hoping if we were one of the quick ones we would of had an offer shortly after like ive been seeing in other groups but as we SE I can't see it.
    Just being totally impatient 🙄
