Santander mortgage timeline

We got asked for additional info today again. I’ve been asked to provide my last two payslips (Sep/Oct). So think that’s three bits of additional info now, MB hopeful next week might be the week. I have noticed that Santander might be getting quicker replying to UW request, think they got through 2-3 working days today.

What’s your full situation mate? When did you apply? Any complexities? Ltv? Etc etc

We applied on 21/9 and we are first time buyers, applied for a 85% product, but our actual LTV is like 83%.  I was furloughed but now not so think they’re just checking I am employed, had to supply letters from employer to say I’m safe etc and now payslips over last 3-4 weeks.

I'm in the position now that I have my offer but my buyer doesn't, also with santander! They sent a valuer to us on the 6th and we had the house we're buying valued on the 9th, but we got our offer the same day! I think they're using a broker though. Hoping it doesn't take too much longer

I made the mistake of checking what date the underwriting queue is on and it’s on the same date as it was on Friday afternoon! Noooooooooooo!!!

Haha..though there is always a lag after the weekend and around Wednesday it suddenly jumps a few days..

It is always a magical moment where it suddenly jumps a few days because of the weekend! I just wish they’d start to catch up a bit, it’s slowly killing me off now 😂😂

I’m going to see if I can have a mortgage update detox for a few days, I might just drink wine instead and just gently rock in a corner facing the wall or something hahaha
