Has anyone had the UW ask for more information but has not had a hard search on their credit file? I’ve read that some people have applied and a hard and soft search has been done the same day the application was received? Thank you.

Congratulations! So happy to know that case took long time but still got offer in the end! It is worth waiting then. Do you mind saying something about your situation please? Thanks a lot.

I'm a single applicant, teacher, 85% LTV - had some credit issues in the past. Been a stressful wait but at least it is over now.
  • So my MB said someone who was 9 days before me has had an offer and was SE...very complex but went through no problems...there is hope for us all...

When you submit new paperwork (se) how long does it usually take befor you have an update, we are 6 weeks in today. Estate agent keeps ringing being pretty horrible that we don’t have mortgage yet. Although we are still waiting on a search on the house we are buying so couldn’t exchange anyway. Was feeling ok but now anxiety levels through the roof thanks to EA.
