OH took BBL as precaution at the start of lockdown however didn’t use it as was not affected! I had a temporary, small pay cut during April, May and June (was company wide) however have been back to normal and unaffected since then. Yes via MB, told him about the pay cut before applying but he wasn’t concerned as was 3.5 months before we applied for the mortgage.

Sounds like the 3 of us have the same type of situation. My employment had no changes due to the industry and OH was initially effected and took seiss payments but MB wasn’t concerned either as his income is exactly the same as his 19/20 tax return was stating and shows business completely back to normal. They received our app on the 18th and joined the queue late in the day on the 26th October.

Hi, this thread mainly has people currently in the application process, I don’t think I’ve seen any declines on here. Did they give a reason? I know a couple people have had lower offers and their MB have appealed but not sure of the outcome. Sorry.

    Hi
I’ve been following this thread for a while and it’s been very helpful! I was just wondering if there are different queues as my application went to the UW on the 19/10 but I’ve heard back today asking for some info. Once I provide this we are good to go. I have been looking at the timescales on the website and I wasn’t expecting my case to be looked at until the end of November. We are both full time employed and we both have been on furlough in the past?
    Started comping October 2013

Wins - Nov 2013 - pair of Clothes Show Live tickets - Dec 2013 - family tickets for Strictly Come Dancing - March 2014 - £100 gift voucher for Smyths

Ahhhh this is nice to hear!!!
Yes there are different queues according to my MB, SE/other issues one is long! However even though you were furloughed, if at initial assessment they could see that you’re 100% no longer in the danger zone they may have put you in the nice and straight forward queue!! Don’t fight it 😂 hopefully you’ll know soon!!
  • It's good that Santander have added more info so people know where their cases are at for dates. Does anyone know if you send a letter or document back whether you're classed as "Passed back to underwriting"or "Checking supporting documents"?
