Just had an update they’ve requested a form from our accountant to say our business has not been effected by covid, we are lucky our business has grown through covid.
This is insane, a lot of accountants don’t like to comment on the state of a business. Last 3 mi the bank statements should show your fine. Mad how they are asking for more info after everything you supplied
I know, I had read others that had to supply this, I feel better that they’ve made contact.
My accountants have outright said they do not comment or take responsibility on future earning or current earnings
Oh no! How frustrating. We have deposits paid for jobs booked In next year, and submitted our new books in September so can see our business has grown and not been impacted. Don’t know if that makes a difference, we where told this is quite standard.
Well when we applied we did say we had been affected but now back to normal. Maybe as you stated you haven’t been they want the accountant to verify it...either way..annoying
So annoying! So pleased you are back to normal though!
Thanks 😀...did your MB state not affected by Covid on the application??
We don’t know, but we originally went with Aldermore and our accountant did the same then.

Oh that’s really good, may because we only have 2 year books, as we where a sole trader for 14 years then the business expanded and now we are a limited company.

Mine went in 30 Sept but info requested wasn't supplied until 5 Oct. I applied directly though which seems quicker until the valuations hold things up
I doubt I will Hear today. We only applied on 23/10! And through a broker! Sigh! The wait goes on!
Oh sorry I didn't realise, there's someone on here and we're pretty much on an identical timeline and their valuation was booked for today, I thought it must have been you
Similar! And same date for valuation! I’m sure it will come through soon!
  • Our mortgage offer was submitted on 5th October and we are still waiting to hear! The anxiety of waiting to hear every day is driving me mad  :(

We went in on the 1st and had contact today. We are SE, so I think you will have an update end of the week beginning next week.
