Thank you, fingers crossed for us all.Meh123 said:
woo hoo!! Well it clicked over to the 8th October when the site updated at 5pm this evening so you’re finally on your way!!!Yep we put our application in on 1/10, still waiting we should hear something this week as they are up to the 7th October1 -
So does that mean that they should hopefully get a confirmed mortgage offer soon or that it has only just gone to the underwriter to see if they can actually get a mortgage??Meh123 said:

If they did an application following an agreement in principle the underwrites just have to check all the evidence provided matches the info on the application.Rach7379 said:

If they applied on the 8th the underwriters won’t be looking at it tomorrow. They need to find out when the application went to the Underwriting queue, at the moment they’re looking at applications that went to the underwriting queue on the 8th October, not applications that were made on that date.Rach7379 said:So does that mean that they should hopefully get a confirmed mortgage offer soon or that it has only just gone to the underwriter to see if they can actually get a mortgage??
I’m pretty sure that around that time it was taking applications about a week to get into the queue, so a safe bet would be that they joined the UW queue mid October and should hopefully be looked at by the underwriters in about a weeks time maybe? As long as all the info matches then it should be good to go and they’ll hopefully have an offer or be close to the end of the process by the end of the month.0 -

If they're both employed they may skip full underwriting and it could take about 4 weeks from application obtain an offer. If one or more are self employed it could take 6-12 weeks.0 -
Just had an update they’ve requested a form from our accountant to say our business has not been effected by covid, we are lucky our business has grown through covid.1

This is insane, a lot of accountants don’t like to comment on the state of a business. Last 3 mi the bank statements should show your fine. Mad how they are asking for more info after everything you supplied85c said:Just had an update they’ve requested a form from our accountant to say our business has not been effected by covid, we are lucky our business has grown through covid.0 -
I know, I had read others that had to supply this, I feel better that they’ve made contact.mowgliisaG said:

My accountants have outright said they do not comment or take responsibility on future earning or current earnings85c said:
