Rach7379 said:So does that mean that they should hopefully get a confirmed mortgage offer soon or that it has only just gone to the underwriter to see if they can actually get a mortgage??
I’m pretty sure that around that time it was taking applications about a week to get into the queue, so a safe bet would be that they joined the UW queue mid October and should hopefully be looked at by the underwriters in about a weeks time maybe? As long as all the info matches then it should be good to go and they’ll hopefully have an offer or be close to the end of the process by the end of the month.0 -

If they're both employed they may skip full underwriting and it could take about 4 weeks from application obtain an offer. If one or more are self employed it could take 6-12 weeks.0
