my BG supply started 22/12 but the reading used is 21/11
I think that means I’ve gained the standing charge.
Bills are being reversed left right and center on BG at the moment.
Technically we can’t bank on it until 6 years have passed, but I’d certainly say wait 2 or 3 months or maybe 6 months until this phase of rebilling is over.
PFP ended September and that’s not been billed yet.0 -
My PFP bill came in the post and has been added to my BG debt over two random amounts for some reason. Still not been billed for long enough to actually pay - I'm on whole amount direct debit and when they cancel the bills it cancels the direct debit. I reckon my April bill will be for around a thousand pounds, and will include the PFP final bill.0

Also earlier my BG start read provided december 3rd was adjusted back to the NR final read on November 20th
All gone relatively smoothly for me apart from these annoying bill cancellations0 -

Reluctantly, increased my DD today for May1st. It's going to be almost exactly twice what I was paying NR but my own spreadsheets suggested that I was going to owe ~ £150 by June inc. the "missing" days.
Just wish BG would actually replace the bill that they cancelled 3 weeks ago.
Now means that my utility bills are comfortably my biggest monthly cost ,leaving the Council Tax far behind !

My BG payment account show miscellaneous document on the 1st of April with a £53.27 debit which I can only assume relates to Neon Reef.
NR was paid £84.78 and units come to £82.82 and standing charge is around £6.55 so not a difference of £53.27
Last BG bill was 1st of March, no emails received about this, is there anywhere to see this miscellaneous document within the BG account? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

The "miscellaneous document" is not a document - just a way of entering the value in your account.
With my short period of being with NR, the way they worked out the credit to be applied to my BG account was simply to add the direct debits I'd paid, and to subtract the value of the single bill I'd been sent. This benefited me by 2-3 weeks of free electricity (though I'm a low user!)
I don't think they're working out the credit/debit to be transferred to the exact kWh

Well I'm normally not a heavy user but as it happened the "missing" period between my one and only NR bill and my switch to BG on December 6th was a period when the landlord had the builders in using loads of machinery, and there was a two week period where two months' worth of electricity was consumed. This SOLR experience has been the best one to date.0

Presumably they have to give something to show how they've calculated the amount. Perhaps it comes on the next bill but I've raised a complaint to request their "document", 7 days for a reply apparently, I guess their complaints department is pretty busy at the moment.
Never had a bill from NF, I have a screenshot of the opening reading at NF and BG have an opening reading, units for period tally with what we'd typically use and number of standing charge days should be very straightforward to apply.
Nice result for youbut BG won't be getting a penny more than was used from me!

Unless they send something in the post detailing the debit amount I'm not sure how they expect to get away with that.
On the plus side their estimated reading for 31st of Match was only 15kw out (in my favour), I guess their haven't processed the web form dated meter readings yet and the bill will be adjusted at some point.
