Complain to E.ON and go to the ombudsman if need be, you can't be charged twice.CRISPIANNE3 said:
In my case they thought it was worth the hassle to the tune of £7.80. However Symbio also charged me for the same period.ivanleo said:They might just decide it's not worth the hassle, as E.ON did when they became SOLR for Symbio.0

yes they have added NR final bill credit balances but not deducted NR final bill debit balancesShedman said:
Stepdaughter has had her NR credit applied to her SOLR BG account today as well, but nothing on mine for the NR debit that I owe. Likewise no further bills on either account for the gap period between end of NR (or 8th Nov in her case) and start date of first bills from BG. Fingers crossed they aren't going to bother.ivanleo said:Just had my outstanding NR balance credited in full to my non-SOLR British Gas account with a transaction type of "Miscellaneous document". My one and only NR bill went up to 7th November so not sure what's going to happen to the charges between 8th November and 6th December but I'm going to let sleeping dogs lie.
I strongly suspect they will get round to deducting final bill debit balances in the near future
Whether they get round to charging for the the "missing period" though is unlikely in my opinion as its hard to see how they would do it now the NR billing system has been shut down0

How are they going to deduct final bill debit balances if the NR final bill doesn't exist and as you say, the NR billing system has been shut down?Inigo_Montoya said:yes they have added NR final bill credit balances but not deducted NR final bill debit balances

That’s BG out of the way, just EDF now0

I doubt it’s been shut down internally. External web access to it is no longer available.ivanleo said:

the administrators will supply the balances to the solr.0

few different possibilities I can think of
 1) the final bill does exist (you just never got to see it)
 2) as someone else said the back office system is still active & can be used to generate the missing final bill
 3) they incorrectly use the last generated bill balance as the final bill balance
 4) you just get forgotton about
even if 2) is the case then I still think its more likely than not that we do not get charged for the "missing period" - I said this a few months back & IIRC someone replied saying it definately wouldn't happen1

Hmm, I'm wondering if the bit I've highlighted in bold is the case as I've had a credit added in the last 24hrs with the transaction type of "Miscellaneous document" but it's somewhat larger than I would have expected. As NR's billing system INTERNALLY is NOT shut down, I would expect the debits to be added soon. I haven't yet had the "PDFformat" final bill NR said I would get. The way NR/BG seem to have agreed to deal with the credits & debts may have a bearing on this.Inigo_Montoya said:

I also note BG have updated https://www.britishgas.co.uk/solr/neon-reef.html where it now in the top section says
"We also wanted to let you know that because you are on a variable tariff, the price of your energy is going up when the new Ofgem energy price cap changes on 1st April 2022. We'll write to let you know how this impacts you shortly"
Hmm, I know people are going to dispute this (previously mentioned) because of the "contract" they were sent in November!
Also noted in the Your new tariff section, they have mentioned "Your standing charge began when you were appointed as our customer, on 21st November, so we will therefore retrospectively add a standing charge from the date you were appointed to us by Ofgem.
So how/who/what rate the energy used from the 21st November to 3rd December is going to be billed, remains to be seen!

Are you sure that you didn't have a DD payment taken by NR after the date that your last NR bill went up to and hence actually had a final credit balance on 20 Nov bigger than that stated on your 'final' bill?Phones4Chris said:

Her final bill produced on 6 Nov but up to 1 Nov showed a credit balance that hadn't taken account of the DD that had been taken on 1 Nov so was showing a credit balance that was £20 less than her actual credit balance (and it was this higher credit balance that has now appeared in her BG account).2

The rate and the billing for that period can only come from BG as NR did not have a supply licence from the 21st, so either it gets billed by BG at their rates, or it doesn't get billed at all.Phones4Chris said:So how/who/what rate the energy used from the 21st November to 3rd December is going to be billed, remains to be seen!
