Looks like the NR website has gone completely now - just a holding page.1

And no access via App either...just get Internal Server error message0

App still working for me. but maybe because I haven't fully transferred over to BG?
Says my next payment to them is due 12th March. But obviously no payments have been taken since 12th Nov. No bills ever generated and shows me in credit by the amount of my sole payment.0 -

For a couple of months BG have been suggesting that my DD is set too high and have been predicting a balance at contract end of £hundreds - today I notice they predicted end balance has plummeted to a few £s without any input from me !

After being prompted to reduce my monthly DD with BG after my first bill (which I did)
am now getting prompted to increase my DD by even more than the original DD figure before my change.
However if I get my NR credit applied eventually that will mean I will likely break even over the year
at least under current charges.
Feels like BG already want us to increase DD in anticipation of the April increases.

I never received a latest bill from Neon Reef. The last one I had was dated 30/09/2021 to 30/10/2021 and then it was all swapped to British Gas.
I was still ~£50 in credit then. I hope that £50 doesn't disappear into cyber space or someone's pocket (proverbially).
I've since logged into my British Gas account to find that all my information about billing and energy use has disappeared. The tariff information listed is 30p per kwh and 50p standing charge!!!!! This must be what it will be in April as I was assured by BG that my rates are still 20p per kwh and 24p st.
I can only assume that things are being altered and shaken up to account for the transfer of the Neon Reef data?!!!
I absolutely hate being the dark like this especially on a house that runs its heating on electric!0 -

Obviously British Gas needs to know what your balance was so they can only credit you this money once they get the information from Neon Reed (unless you have a final bill or else want to get into an argument about what your credit balance should be deemed to have been).
Once British Gas get confirmation from the Neon Reef administrators that your credit balance that was written off was £50, this amount should be credited to your British Gas account. This is a rather slow process unfortunately and can take months.0 -
My reply from BG regarding showing the Welcome tariff as guaranteed until 31. July 2022.

We have received your complaint about tariff prices and the end date. I'm sorry that you're unhappy about this and that there has been confusion caused. I have checked the account and I'll explain this. All our customers who have recently transferred as part of SOLR acquisitions are on a variable tariff. These tariffs have an end date and the reason is to that the account can be switched to the standard tariff once the date has occurred or the account would remain on the tariff until changed. The tariff end date for our customers from NR is 31.07.2022. However the rates are NOT fixed as fixed tariffs have exit fees etc and the the customer has to sign up for it. In the current case, the account was rolled on to it by default. It's a variable tariff and the pricing will increase/decrease as per Ofgem's price cap. unquote.
