I have had two final bills.  The later 'final final' bill was up to 20 Nov and had the correct readings so I taking that as being my definitive final bill. I owe them about £25.  BG are supposed to be collecting this as I understand it  but no sign of that so far (and I wouldn't be surprised if they never got around to it....)
What date did BG take over your supply? I thought that was at the start of December, so you still have a gap of a week or two to come on top of that final bill, which is the last Neon Reef bill rather than the final statement I believe.
Neon Reef can't bill after 20th Nov as they no longer had a supply licence after that date.  BG became SOLR on 21 Nov and so should technically bill from that date but so far they only seemed to have billed from around 5-8 Dec (account dependant) and so far there is no indication of whether or not they will actually bill from SOLR date.  I think most of us are hopeful they will forget about it (and given their general lack of competence wouldn't be surprised).

As they are closing down the NR online portal shortly I think its quite possible they will just use the 20th of November balances - for most customers its only around a couple of weeks of energy so the costs & hassle of sorting out the charging for this may outweigh the return

    Hopefully.........but I'm not spending the ~£70 in case !!

the question then is whether it will just be the NR final bill balance up to November 20th (which most people have had a bill for now ?) or whether a new bill will be generated on NRs systems to take the billing up to the date the billing was switched to BG
The bill for the period between 20/11 and the date the supplier ID changed to BG will come from BG.

My last bill from NR is the 8th November. So if they want to lose the billing between then and December whilst transferring my credit balance I wouldn't object ;)

Still no bill from BG from the 20th November until now either. Have a DD set up to cover those months so not too concerned, but it really is a bit of a mess. Nothing should be stopping them billing for December & January as they have had the readings.

Some people could be getting in a real financial mess over these delays.

Agreed - its not the time of the year to be unsure of whether you are owed or owe money. The customers on here ,generally ,know how they stand but that probably doesn't apply to the vast majority of ex NR customers. Its going to be even worse if the situation drags on beyond April.
Feedback from ex Together Energy customers suggests that their recent transfer to BG threatens to be even worse and a real nightmare!!

I've had my final bill from NR up to 20th November.  Owe them £12.  I've had a bill from BG (and paid it) for the period 3/12 - 24/1 - and am now on monthly fixed DD with them.  So it's a case of when/if BG come for the £12, do they also come for the supply between 20/11 and 3/12.

My final statement from NR is to 20 Nov but I’ve also noticed that under meter readings on NR portal they have the 7 Dec reading which matches with the BG 7 Dec reading (the date my switch to BG completed). (I switched to BG shortly before BG was announced as SOLR.)

Yes good point I was thinking the very same thing.
need to look at the readings as well as the dates.
I still have gaps and expecting them to get sorted out.

Well you're better off paying the NR tariff on those extra units, regardless of what the regulatory position might be.
