My “last” NR bill, dated 4th January, has “cancellation bill” stamped on it?0

Cannot see whom would benefit the most from me contacting BG as opposed to continuing to wait?booshya said:
Just found this post of yours you made on 13th December 2021.infoadict said:My DNO list NR as my supplier
As we know this didn't reflect the reality and you should have been transferred to BG, then time for you to contact BG
I have enough money to cover my bills, sitting in my bank account earning interest.0 -
No NR invoice, owed about £100+.
No BG invoice, submitted 2 meter readings and apparently used 480kw in January!0 -
Had no final bill from Neon Reef. The last bill was issued on 2nd November covering to 28th October with credit of £40.45p plus DD taken on 1st November.Shedman said:Can't recall but has anyone that was in credit with NR had their Final Final bill to 20 Nov yet?I was in debit for a small amount with them and received mine on 14th Dec with final reading being just about spot on (as I had submitted readings on 15 Nov and 21 Nov). Plus I have had my first BG invoice a few days ago. However, the last bill my stepdaughter has received was issued on 6th Nov covering to 1st Nov. As of that bill she was in slight credit (plus a further DD taken on on 1 Dec has put her about £25 in credit per the app, although the DD doesn't show on the billing tab either on app or web portal). We submitted readings on 15 Nov and 21 Nov and we can see those readings plus an estimate for 20 Nov on the web portal (in exactly same manner as shows on mine).Just find it strange NR still haven't produce her final final bill yet especially given they seemed to be able to issue bills for those in debit around a month ago.On the BG web portal it shows a meter read on 3rd Dec with zero cumulative consumption against it, suggesting its the opening read they are taking. Although no bill has been produced and a zero balance still shows on her account on the summary page, when we put in a reading on 11 Jan it did come up and say that total to date was around £85 (but it wouldn't appear on the account for a few days) which equates to the amount between 3 Dec and 11 Jan, which seems to add further indication they are using 3 Dec reading as opening one

Still waiting for e.on to invoice me for the energy I used when I switched from Symbio to Neon Reef, I'll take it that that is also complementary, as was the energy I used in the immediate aftermath of Iresa's demise.Inigo_Montoya said:

Looks like the energy use from 21st November to 6 December might be complementary.
the NR administrators could later issue another bill on behalf of BG for that period & the amount due could be transferred over to BG
However I can also see a scenario where BG might just write it off because the costs involved in producing such bills are not worth the return especially if BG are not actually footing the bill themselves & its coming from the communal Ofgem(?) fund instead0 -
I spoke to Eon about this a couple of months back and they said I wouldn’t be getting a bill from them as switched to NR from Symbio so only effectively with Eon a week or two.ivanleo said:

I was only deemed to be on supply with them for three days and never heard anything. This very much suggests that those who escape the SOLR process get some complimentary energy in the process, no wonder OfGem advises people not to switch when a supplier goes bust.tg99 said:

Wow, even more free energy than Symbio used to give away?
At least Symbio closed their error eventually ...

Absolutely no sign of my final debit being transferred from NR to BG and no sign of the "missing" units between the final NR read and the "initial" BG read being billed.
In fact, nothing seems to have happened for a couple of weeks other than a constantly changing amount which BG thinks I'll be owed at the end of my contract !!
Very slow train coming !0
