  •  No final bill from Neon Reef or Zog
  • Still waiting for final bill from NR (owed £104) and new estimate BG. BG sorted out the eco7 after a long pause. Still in DD limbo land after cancelling NR DD to avoid owing just shy of £200. 
  • Hope everyone else is having a smooth journey with British Gas mines has been anything but.
    I have received my first bill which is for the 3rd December - 23 December as I thought this was a quarterly cash/cheque tariff I am a bit perplexed as to why I have a bill for 20 days and I have also had in the past 3 days 10 emails and 6 texts telling me to pay the bill asap.
    Has anyone else had their fist bill or is it just me ?

    I had that when PFP went. BG billed me in October for 15 days, not billed since so I expect another in January. 
  • is anybody still waiting for their Neon Reef final bill to be produced ?
    Yes, from June. I switched to PFP and neon never gave me a bill, I reckon I owe more than 100. 

    I've had no contact from administrator or neon to say they've gone bust. 

    Had anyone else switched away before neon went?

    I've had a bill from BG. I was planning on ignoring it until they apply my credit from NR. I'll be switching away as soon as Octopus let me join on their Go tariff, which they promised they would. I just needed to get BG to fit my smart meter (which they did last week) and now await Octopus reopening their call centre.

    That is neither wise, nor a right...
    BG are entitled to get their bills paid regardless of the progress on the NR credit, so if you've got a bill and you don't have a DD in place with BG,  I'd suggest it is worth getting it paid.

  • My BG bill asked for payment within 14 days, so I paid it. They have no way of knowing how much if any credit we are owed from our old supplier, and can probably charge for late payment or something. If the next bill is a quarter away that gives time for everything to be sorted.
