He never said anyone was calling to chase up a debt. He said he got a missed call from a Brighton area code. Now we have pages of nonsense which distracts from any useful updates.4

Got an email tonight informing me of my final statement being now online. Logged in and they have cancelled the final statement to 15.11.21 and reissued the final statement with the extra few days to 21.11.21 so £20 more or so. Says the debt owed will be collected via DD 4 Jan or collection agents will be in touch if no active DD.1

The BG Welcome Neon Reef blog page has been updated, apparently. This is the important bit, I think.

Our lines are very busy. We’re prioritising our vulnerable customers, so please don’t call us right now unless it’s an emergency.

They are saying that this is the reading they are receiving from the smart meter they sent someone to check the meter today even he didn't have a clue were they are getting the readings from and even though he was standing at the meter asking them what reading they were receiving and he was telling them what reading the meter had they asked him to check it again
Its a Smets 1 meter and hasn't been smart for nearly 2 years and its just went stupid now.

Anyone get the following e-mail from British Gas? It contradicts what is published on their SOLR FAQ website which says Direct Debits will be transferred across. Also there has been no mention of a different rate for those who pay by cash/ cheque under the Welcome to British Gas Tariff as far as I am aware:
Hello XXXXXXX Your transfer to British Gas is nearly complete.
We've set up your payments as quarterly cash/cheque as we haven't received the necessary information to set you up on Direct Debit. But you can set one up right now and take control of your energy payments. It's the cheapest and easiest way to pay, as you receive a Direct Debit discount
Please note: although we have set you up on cash/cheque payments, we have currently given you Direct Debit prices - if you don't set up a Direct Debit you will lose this discount and the price of your energy will be going up. If you've already set up your Direct Debit, you can ignore this email.
We also wanted to let you know that if you are waiting for a credit from your previous supplier, we're still in talks with the administrators to get this moved over for you - we'll be in touch when it's all been finalised.0 -
I’ve certainly not received that email. Obviously no one is in a rush to receive a bill, but it seems that we will only really find out the prices we are going to be charged when we actually receive one. We can surmise and speculate, but the only proof is in the pudding and the provision of a definite base line.At least I’m not awaiting a credit from NR. I owed them a small amount, which I have paid, on the understanding that it is in full and final settlement of my account. The balance on my NR account is now showing as NIL.0

My account is showing a payment due amount which is for stupid money but It wont let me download the bill as it is not available yet.
I was also assured I would be changed over to the Zero Fix October 22 tariff and that hasn't happened either
All in all it's been a stressful experience were I have spent hours on chat and phone and had to have my meter checked.1 -
BG all migrated across, just waiting to submit my next reading on the 2nd January0
