Just received this by email from NR. Just for info, not checked yet, I've every confidence... Note the point about the direct debit, if you owe them and your DD is still open.
Have some customers had this already?Neon Reef Limited in administration (the “Company” / “Neon Reef”)
IMPORTANT: Your final statement from Neon Reef has been generated. You can view your statement by logging into your online portal or App using your email address and your chosen password.
If your account shows a debit balance, you owe this amount to Neon Reef. For customers with a direct debit, a direct debit will be taken from your account on 4th January 2022, up to a maximum of £300.
If this direct debit is likely to cause financial concerns, please contact your bank to cancel this payment. For balances in excess of £300 or customers without a direct debit in place, the Joint Administrators' team or an appointed collection agent will be in touch in due course about the settlement of outstanding amounts.
Rob Croxen, Paul Berkovi and Mark Firmin were appointed as Joint Administrators of the Company on 24 November 2021. The Company’s affairs, business and property are being managed by the Joint Administrators, who act as agents of the Company without personal liability.
All the best,
The Neon Reef in administration Team

On first investigation, the Final Account seems to be based on an estimated reading at 20th November. Looks like I might have to go through this with a fine tooth comb. Laters.0

Well after some back and forth. Someone from BritishGas complaints team called me up about an hour ago. Said they had no details from NR for myself however considering the situation and I should be moving to them, they will just put it through manually.
I should apparently get an email shortly from BG, we shall see. Thanks for the replies everyone.1 -

That is of course assuming the Joint Administrators' team or an appointed collection agent doesn't just get in touch saying this is the amount you owe and aren't open to discussions.0 -

I'm quite happy to sit back and wait for BG to contact me as and when. Can't really see any downside to this approach. I have meter readings and cash in place to cover future bills.0 -
No email yet received but NR administrators have changed the introductory bumph on this "final statement" yet again - but still using my reading as of 6th November and not adding in the DD taken on 8th November.0

Hi, I also received the email today from NR posted above by Deleted_User.
Late Nov/early Dec, I had emails from BG announcing the move over. However, I've not yet set up my account with them although I ensured I entered meter reads to NR with photos right up to the end. I was waiting to see what would happen. The final bill looks in line and so hopefully that's saved some hassle.
So, is now the time to find the lowest cost provider? Is it worth it given they'll likely go bust soon like my 2 previous suppliers i.e. I may as well just stick with the one of the larger companies? Cheers.0 -

No fine tooth comb needed here. My final, final statement is what I expected it to be.0
