Just to add to the confusion about what meter reading to use; I gave NR a meter reading on 22/11 'cos that's when they asked for it, but an estimate as of 26/11 has now appeared in my account.

I was wondering if that might happen as people are being moved over to BG at (relatively) lighting speed almost as if it was a normal non SOLR transfer0 -

So do we give today's reading or in my case the 22nd November reading which BG asked me to give to NR,or do we not give them a reading till the final bill of NR,thanks.

I gave the same as the NR one on the 22nd, but I suppose it won’t matter, as I’m expecting an estimated bill once it’s accepted on my account1

Had email from BG asking for meter reading and set up account. Gave todays meter reading using the provided link. I was a previous BG customer so can only access old account which only shows closed gas. This has a different customer number to the electric one provided in the email. So not sure if they will be linked at some point as you cant create a new account with same email address. Sent BG a DM via Twitter as dont have time to waste phoning.0

I don't expect it'll matter what the date of the readings you give as no doubt the "Mysterious Third Party" will come up with something different to what you submit anyway (and BG will no doubt conspire to get it wrong as well if past experience is anything to go by)0

@l@locky123 Unfortunately BGs response time on Twitter is appalling. Chat is also appalling - I really do not know why such as BG and BT persist in using Indian response centres. Sorry, but they are generally worse than useless, in my experience.0

Will be even more complicated for me seeing as I originally went for the expensive BG fix prior to SOLR appointment, and I cancelled under cooling off last night.
Right now the only thing my account says is that my switch is cancelled.1 -
!!!!!!. Just noticed that my NR account is now showing an estimated reading of 25231 on 27th November.Pretty sure that has just changed today. Previously it was showing an actual reading of 25062 on 16th November, which is when NR went kaput. I have a screenshot and a pic of the meter showing that reading on that day. We really shouldn’t have to be doing all this extra stuff, just so we can prove our cases later on. Ridiculous.Edit. I didn’t actually type those exclamation marks, but something else…0
