I too received an email on the 23/11 advising would be supplied from 3 December. I have heard nothing since but I spoke to them on their chat line today and advised all is going ahead as scheduled and will receive another email shortly with my account number.Poundwize said:Got a sales order email on 24/11 but nothing since then. Wow - must have more people (or a different call centre!) on duty weekdays !!Ignite said:
Easy. I was on the phone for a total of 8 minutes and it is all set up. About 30 seconds on hold in the queue and that was it.brewerdave said:
Good luck with that !!!Ignite said:There is the small issue of Direct Debit setup - call this number....0 -
I've just had an email asking for a meter reading. It does not ask for the meter reading from the SOLR date. I'm going with today's reading as this seems to be what they have asked for. It will be interesting to see if this is accepted.0

I just called BG having got the email and got through quite quickly. I asked what reading they wanted, having provided one to Neon Reef on 21st. I was told that they are supplying me from today and want today's reading. Another reading will be required in January. I was told that the account will not be fully set up as yet. I pushed re who I will be paying for the period between 21st Nov and today, and was told that it would be Neon Reef as BG are only supplying from today. I declined to give a reading whilst on the phone as a) I've not taken it today and b) I wanted to think through the cost options in doing so. I asked about a DDR since the email said that I was going to be paying by Cash, chq or card (!!) and was told that a DDR can be set up in due course, if I want but not at the moment. I was advised to note that reading today and then provide it along with the one they want in January!

I asked BG the same question by twitter about 8 hours ago, and am still awaiting a response.ghostwriter said: On the subject of meter readings, I gave Neon a reading on the 21st when asked and I've given BG a reading today. What happens to the units I've used in between?
Meanwhile, what a frustrating day and system. The system STILL will not save my meter reading. It seems to do so, but on logging back in, it is never there on file. I must have submitted it at least 10 times. Meanwhile, I have had 4 messages via the app asking for a reading, and lastly an email asking for one. I've responded to each in turn, and it's STILL not there.
I was also assured by Gourav on Chat at 13.50 that he had entered the reading. My latest attempt is to send a screenshot of their own receipt for the damn reading. Essentially, I'm no further on than I was at 5.30 this morning.0 -
You will get inaccurate information from CS staff as they are all used to the normal switch process and will assume this is the same, but it isn't.As long as they get a meter reading and a date they will be able to use that to agree an estimate with NR as at the actual point of billing transfer which the the day they were appointed as SoLR.This confusion comes up with pretty much all of the SoLR transfers.0

This page has apparently been updated today (see box rhs). I can't see any difference.
