Can I ask whether you were in credit at the time of their demise? Haven't rec'd an email myself.ghostwriter said:I revived an email from Neon Reef overnight. It seems the Direct Debit move to BG is underway.
With effect from 01/12/2021 Direct Debit payments due in respect of the Direct Debit Instruction detailed below will now be for £0.00 and collected on the 13 day of each month until further notice0 -
The last I heard was that I was supposed to be on supply with BG as of tomorrow, 2/12. No final a/c from NR, but by my calculations I was in credit. Just a case of waiting to see what BG use as their opening reading (and NR as their closing).0

Have you checked your BG account lately. I had 2 Dec as the original date when first setting up the BG date but it changed to 8 Dec a few days ago0

Yes, I'm in credit £250 or so. My scheduled date to switch to BG is tomorrow (just checked this morning as some have had theirs put back) which may be why they're doing this now. No sign of a BG direct debit on my current account as yet.brewerdave said:

There does seem to be a Chat facility on the RHS. I haven't tried it to date.0 -
Deleted_User said:Just a case of waiting to see what BG use as their opening reading (and NR as their closing). It should be a meter reading or an estimate as at November 21st the day that BG were appointed as the SoLR.The actual date that the supplier ID was updated on the central database has no impact on the billing so it doesn't matter if you are 'on supply' tomorrow or some other date in the future. The only importance of the 'supply' date is that marks the first point at which you could safely switch away from BG if you wanted to.
