So when does the new tariff start? First email from BG said they are my supplier from 21/11 and on my account it says supply starts on 3/12.

The tariff started on 21/11, the central database that shows the ID of your supplier will be updated on 3/12.

When we get asked for our opening read, will it be the one taken on the 21st/22nd? Or the one they ask for them on say, the dec 1st?

Well, it’s too familiar for a start, and a bit late. The NR directors and ‘team’ are not my best buddies, and they have shown no inclination to contact or engage with me previously. Quite the reverse, in fact. Yet at the same time they are still anonymous, and haven’t even signed the statement. 

Furthermore, painting themselves as innocent victims of circumstance is a bit rich. I use the word ‘rich’ advisedly. What are they going to do next, invite us all round for tea? I suspect that the statement is more for the benefit of the authorities than the customers.

Just had the two emails - one from Neon Reef , too late ,already cancelled DD and gave NR a meter read yesterday.
Second one from BG is badly worded, as it is obviously a generic one , as I haven't got an account to reset the password for;

Whatever reading you give to them will get validated by the industry process and adjusted to an approximate value for 21/11 so I wouldn't get too creative...

@brewerdave You don’t necessarily have to reset. You can register yourself, and set yourself up as a new customer from scratch, with your own new password. Then login and await developments.
