Well Neon Reef have left me no option but to make a formal complaint. They seem to think it acceptable that the opening reading of 13430 that I provided to them on the 29th January (the day they commenced as my supplier) should be showing in My Account as the 25th January, and the reading I gave to Scottish Power for an interim (not final) bill of 13397 on the 25th January should be shown as the 29th January, and claiming that my 13430 reading was not validated but refusing to challenge their "industry body" about the matter!

Quite. Assuming 2p/kWh and 10p/day daily charge difference, my mental arithmetic makes that about a guinea, in old money.

It has nothing to do with what the cost involved is, it has to do with the principle of wrong readings being applied, which if you read around even just these forums, you will find many people affected by foul-ups by these so-called "industry bodies" that are supposedly "experts"
and supposed to correctly validate readings, and in many cases there are significant sums involved especially when people are due refunds. That can have a major impact on people on a very tight budget (which thankfully isn't me) so maybe sarcastic posters could consider others before they comment or add thanks to such posts!!

I started my switch for electric to NR on 1 Jan and supply started on 22 Jan. To date I cant enter meter readings due to NR claiming that they have not received my meter details from the industry. Is this typical, over a month?
Also NR do not send reminders when to send meter readings so rely on user remembering when to send reading near bill date.0 -
