Yet another customer here on a fixed NR tariff. All has been going swimmingly until today - my statement arrived and lo and behold, no sign of this month's dd which was taken from my bank account a week ago. So if we were to suddenly enter into a SOLR arrangement would we lose these "missing" credits? It's definitely a good idea to take screenshots of everything - including bank payments. I would like to share your optimism paulbounty3 - if NR lasts another month!!

Things slowed down a bit when NR had to raise prices in June, but they were credited on the next bill. Not necessarily a sign of trouble, many energy suppliers seem to be just plodding along very slowly at present, even massive ones such as British Gas.0

The top line on the mobile app seems to reflect the cleared DD a few days after being taken but does not appear in the itemised list until the next bill. I have queried this before and on that occasion my bill was cancelled and a new bill provided, showing the DD.

Last August I was informed the following by NR:
"We have recently identified an issue affecting a number of accounts that is stopping some payments from being shown correctly in bills. We are investigating this issue and hope to have it resolved soon. We are sincerely sorry for the delay in your bills being issued and wish to reassure you that the matter is being looked into."
It sounds to me like they still have the same issue, but are now pumping the bills out with or without the payments credited.

The bottom line is that (so far at least) if the latest direct debit is "missing" from the latest statement it will appear on next months statement
That assumes the direct debits continue to only be delayed in their crediting rather than going missing completely
