Morning Turtles,
Gratitudes this morning:
- not so windy weather for my commute
- 3 year anniversary with OH since our first date
- play time with the kitten this morning rather than just laying in bed scrolling through my phone

greent said:crazy_cat_lady said:I was reading a story on fakeb00k yesterday about a s e x festival being cancelled due to lack of social distancing. Wonder if that was in Le Shire
- I was away one weekend when it was on and hit teh papers and my mum asked me the following week to check I hadn't been there!!!
I am properly amused by this for some reason. Honestly you can find anything these days can't you?
So, I'm in the middle of decorating my living room at the moment. I'm not sure how it happened because we were only supposed to be painting dd's room, and that isn't even done yet. And I hate decorating, although it is a lot more pleasant when I have dd helping me. I don't mind the actual painting, it's the cleaning and preparation required beforehand.
At least it stops me spending any more money. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Yesterday was NSD No 2
It was really wet and windy. I had to retrieve one of my plants from two doors down. Anyway, It was impossible to walk in so that was one of my new good habits scuppered.
Himself was really unwell yesterday. Got up and was promptly sent back to bed so I spent most of the day by myself reading. He seems a bit better this morning but another day in bed would do him the world of good. Last night I got a phone call to say his younger brother had been taken into hospital with pneumonia and a blood clot on his lung. The family member who phoned hadn't got a ward number so I'm kind of sitting here in limbo at the moment waiting to find out what's going on. Another worry.
On the plus side the Boy came for Sunday dinner. It's lovely to have a proper conversation with him and the steak oie was delicious. One of the best I've ever had so I'll certainly be using that butcher again.
I've been a bit lazy for the past few days so lots to do. Better get on.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -

Aw, thank you, Calling. I must confess it is felling a bit like "what next" but we need to soldier on.
Today was NSD No 3. Got the washing and bits and bobs done. Himself is up for a a bit and I'll make him something light to eat for tea. Not heard anything about his brother yet but that's no surprise - they are a bit of a strange family. Difficult to explain. There are only three of them (no cousins or anything) and although they obviously care about one another and haven't had a disagreement of any kind they just don't seem to keep in touch on any sort of regular basis. Although I've been with Himself for more than twenty years (more like thirty actually) I've never had a birthday or Christmas card or present in all that time. It's not that they don't like me, it's just that they don't think about it. Don't misunderstand me. It doesn't bother me. Just seems a bit strange.
So I'm getting right into watching The Crown on Netflix. That should keep me occupied for a while.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -

Hi everyone, had a good day yesterday, very productive doing stuff in the house, including cleaning the extractor fan hood! Friend came round in the afternoon and had a nice chat in the garden. Caught up on PT work in the eve. Reading a brilliant book -The Familiars - so trying to read a little (or a lot!) before bedtime. Also a NSD, first one of the month.
Today has been a quiet day at work. Have booked some leave for August, only had a few odd days off since January.
Going to do exercise class this evening via Fb.
Gratitudes - lovely chat with friend; getting washing dry on the line; quick walk at lunch

Today I am grateful for a catch-up with some colleagues, for dd having a wonderful sch report, for finding decaf coffee in liddle (we were having to buy it at more than 2x the price from saina), for the bumbling bumble bee who likes our garden, for red goosegogs.
