Slow day but the kitchen and bathroom are mopped, we had a visit from DS2 (not moving to Blackpool but still giving up his flat - 3 bed, guzzles his money - and moving to Sale to live with his gf). I've had a questionaire from my CPAP people and have to send that off and the info chip from my machine and will then have my annual review appointment by phone.
Today I am grateful for easy food, ibuprofen (shoulder hurting this morning), a fun film to watch and a good book to read. Not an NSD as did the next SM delivery order (now allowed 95 items but put down 10 baked potatoes as the loose ones are really big).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -

Am now on 4 nsd's. The last few days I have been doing few bits of housework, reading, mindfulness colouring, meditation, going for walks each day, made 2 bran loafs(first time I have baked something in ages). My niece is technically a newly qualified teacher, she finished university this week and is waiting to get her certificate from the government which hopefully will come next month.
Today I am grateful for:
Been able to go and tend my Mum's grave.
Reading some of a book.
Watching programme with the Bucket woman.
Walking to/from bus stop/graveside.

Today I am grateful for getting 3 loads of washing done (the machine water inlet is being weird so each time I set off a load, I wonder if it will get to the end) and dried, for the red goosegog bush fruit being delicious, for highlights of the Tour from 2018 being on the tv, for dh fixing up dd's new-to-her bike.Kerry - congrats to your niece. Hope she enjoys the profession. I've done 28 years of it so far...!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Morning all, have forgotten to post for a few days but nothing much to report. Am on 4 NSDs. Bought a takeaway on Saturday and today I need to go and get some batteries as the fire alarm one has started beeping at us.
Went to a friend's house on Saturday as they moved just before lockdown, it was really strange as I just kept being worried about being close to people indoors for a long period.
Also been going through cupboards, I have way more rubbish I can get rid of than I thought. For some reason I have an entire glass fish bowl full of corks. I think I kept them because they look pretty on display but they're in the cupboard so clearly not on display! Apparently you can out cork in with the compost so at least I can get rid of them. Need to be a bit more brutal and just get rid of stuff I don't use any more. Anything that can be donated will be!
