In addition to the comments about the bedroom size, the place i want to move
to has an even smaller master, it’s 10x6.8 foot
our bed will just about fit width ways and we’re not bothered about that because we love everything else about the house0 -
We put a blue door in looks like we may need to change that again if we want to sell.0

We sold our house last year with a blue front door, we went to best and final within the first 10 days. Mind you, I chose the estate agent in the area that employed professional photographers and had the best photos of any of the local agents. We were fortunate to have a glorious sunny day plus the photographer added extra lighting to boost things internally, and we had the same weather on the 2 open days which I'm sure helped.

i very much doubt a selling point for a house is the colour of the front door ...getmore4less said:We put a blue door in looks like we may need to change that again if we want to sell.0 -

You'd think not, but see my earlier post with somebody not wanting to view because of the colour of the front door. I persuaded him to look at it and he bought the house. There's nowt so wierd as folk.

You wouldn't think so, but nowt so queer as folk. One of my friends parents always paint their front door in protest at the Government, so a red door when the Conservatives are in power and blue when Labour are in Government.eidand said:i very much doubt a selling point for a house is the colour of the front door ...1 -

I suppose people are different. For me, these are cosmetic issues, easily fixable with a bit of work and paint. Colours of walls, doors etc is far less important, in my book anyway, then location, size, layout, garden etc. But that's just mecsgohan4 said:
what if the interior had fluorescent green walls? We discovered this when we stripped the wall paper, took three coats to cover this. I doubt people would continue looking without a headacheeidand said:

One of the first things we did after buying our current home (a repossessed cottage with hideously peeling green/red front door) two years ago was to strip the door and paint it blue.
A couple of weeks later we had some trades round and one of them said to DH "First thing I'd do is repaint that blue door a different colour" lol
We kept it blue for about 18 months then changed it to Little Greene 'silt'
