Infirm them that, as they are unreasonably refusing to release YOUR data you give them 14 days to confirm they will comply , otherwise you will reserve all legal options, including an injunction ordering them to release the data. This will ultimately be at their cost. They have sufficient info to confirm your identity and they know it. You suggest they take proper legal advice on the ramifications of their breach of the DPA2018.6

And I'd forward their emails to Gladstones and ask that a solicitor steps in with some GDPR knowledge and common sense and tells their client that they are asking for excessive data and puts them right about the right to a SAR, for a consumer who the client OBVIOUSLY knows is the right data subject because they are shaping up to sue them!
If it were me I'd do a curt email to Gs to expose this and tell them if they are not prepared to set their client right and stop demanding excessive data, then in the alternative, you require that the entire proposed claim gets put in hold until such time as the ICO and BPA have concluded their investigations, which will likely be in 2021. Remind Gs that refusal to supply a SAR also overlaps with a refusal to comply with the PAP and that you hope a legally trained person at Gladstones can stop this nonsense and require the Claimant to supply the data held, even if they prefer to post it rather than email it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hi, okay so I received a response from Gladstone’s as I emailed them because the PCN provider would not provide me with an SAR, unless I provided a certified ID, which I will most definitely not. The response from Gladstone’s is attached. Can anyone advise what I would need to do next?0

Sorry forgot to mention, when I initially emailed Gladstone’s regarding their clients refusal to provide me with an SAR, I received this response, which clearly states they are in the process of seeking the evidence? Is this something which will work in my favour?1

The BPA should have replied to you by now. Send a complaint email to Steve Clark:
