My application went in on Monday(8th June) with Natwest through a broker.
I had a hard search on my file on 4th June for my AIP (if it's through a broker they do a hard search for AIP apparently)
Then I have another soft search on my file on 8th.

On 9th afternoon, our broker called asking for evidence of deposit.
    Nothing heard on 10th.
On this morning (11th), our broker called asking evidence for my middle name. (already provide passport and deed poll for adding middle name, and my middle name appeared on all my pay slips, but they want more, so I provide my driving license)

Waiting is annoying and why they couldn't just asking everything at once :(

Who else with Natwest, have you checked you online tracker?
mine is with Natwest and yes i keep checking the tracker every 5 mins!
Good to know someone is on same boat with me.
I have been checking my tracker about 100 times today.
I am bit confused as there are some ticks, and circles, but following the ticks, they say:
'We are reviewing the bank statements/accounts you submitted on behalf of your client; we will contact you if we need any further information.' Does this mean they have done reviewing this? Or just means they are still reviewING it?

I keep checking natwest tracker, my valuation was 27th may.
The tracker just never updates.. it still says waiting valuation even though it was recieved by them tuesday last week.
    Frustrating me now.
How do you know you valuation has been done? My broker just keep saying they are busy and may book one after going through my documents. (but they have done a hard search when doing our AIP)

Same boat here. They've been reviewing my docs for 9 days now - I've called a few times and spoke to them on live chat and they just say they're waiting for the underwriter to pick it up. Definitely frustrating and I think the Tracker adds to the anxiety!

Oh dear 9 days and still reviewing...
Have your valuation been booked? My tracker said  valuation has been instructed on 8th, but my broker said she doesn't know any information on this.

Valuation is done - just waiting for them to review paperwork. Gone to a senior underwriter because I'm self-employed. Mine was a desktop valuation and was pretty fast; if yours is booked in I'd guess it's physical. I'd chase the broker as they updated my case quickly to confirm valuation was done/they were reviewing.

Mine was saying "A valuation has been instructed and we are now awaiting your client's survey report." So I don't know if its physical or not. My LTV is 70% so they might do a desktop one as well?
Glad you have your valuation done, and I think if they want to reject you they would already do it before passing to senior underwriter? So hopefully you will hear good news soon.

Joining this thread as also waiting for mortgage offer. Application went in last Friday with Nationwide, so far no news and anxiously waiting! Is anyone else waiting on NW?
Our application went in today with NW! Have you heard from yours yet? They said that there's a massive backlog with valuations at the moment.
Have you heard anything from NW yet? Still no word of a survey for me...

Nothing yet! :/ Our mortgage advisor did say that they will catch up with us next week, so I assume there are no updates this week. If you don't mind me asking, did you apply via an advisor on the phone or by yourself online? I can't even see the mortgage under "my applications" in the online banking?

Hmm.. must just be due to the backlog!
We applied via a Nationwide Advisor over the phone. I can’t see our application anywhere either so just relying on texts comings through.
  • Hi guys, my application went in last Friday, underwriters looked at it Tuesday and emailed broker to say all ok just need to wait for valuation. No idea when that is taking place! My nerves are shot!
