Joining the forum for this thread!
Submitted my NatWest mortgage application last Monday 1st June. They took payment for valuation on Wednesday and valuation came back as expected on Friday. Now just waiting for them to review my paperwork. It's such an anxious wait! Feel like I'm checking the Mortgage Tracker every half an hour - even though it won't speed anything up!
Anyone with a NatWest paperless mortgage; how did you hear when your offer was given/(or rejected)? By email? Or in the tracker?0 -
How did you manage to have the evaluation done if you have applied only 10 days ago? I have applied on May 7th and I am still waiting for the evaluation to be done! And it's a vacant-new build property and a desktop evaluation can be done too!Wkmg said:My application went in with Halifax about 10 days ago. They took the money for the valuation and the product fee a couple of days later and apparently did the valuation yesterday. Still have no idea when they’ll get back with formal offer though. Broker seems very chill though so not too concerned. I’m more concerned with some of the alarmist language used by my surveyor!0 -
I left it all to my mortgage broker. I assume location makes a difference. I’m in a city in the South East if that makes a difference.Lorenzo94 said:

Hi, I got my first mortgage with Virgin Money two years ago and it was 10 days from submission to formal offer. I rang the broker after 7 days desperate for an answer and he said that they'd just done the valuation yesterday and I should know in a couple days. So fingers crossed for you.HomeownerDreamer said:Application sent to Virgin Money yesterday. Honestly don't know how I'm going to cope waiting to hear back. No idea how long it should take either
I've just re-mortgaged for the first time and just transferred for a new deal with Virgin Money and I applied on Thursday 4th June and had paperwork to sign today. Well I guess I have to do the chasing again. My broker (L&C) is not being very helpful. I have to chase Halifax directly to get updates as my broker seems not being able to get hold of them. Also my flat is in Central London. Don't know how much of a difference it may make.Wkmg said:

Joining this thread as also waiting for mortgage offer. Application went in last Friday with Nationwide, so far no news and anxiously waiting! Is anyone else waiting on NW?0

Still waiting on Natwest - said it would take 2-4 working days to review my details but now at 7 days. Getting more anxious by the hour!
