Creation with no benefits, the new ASDA card which "will be available soon" (they said at the beginning of May)Who else (for a spare card) if we already have Amex?Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -

"We currently cannot provide any information about the particulars of the new card, only that we are working hard to get this up and running as quickly as possible. I can confirm that the card will not be available for 13th July. Unfortunately, the launch date will not be until later in the year. "
So in the market for a cashback card in the interim. Slim pickings... Possibly Barclaycard, as I've already an AmEx card.Mortgage and debt free. Building up savings...2 -
Natwest Reward is better if you have the appropriate current account (or can be bothered to jump through the hoops to maintain one).
Unless Asda are feeling particularly generous, I would expect an unspectacular product.0 -

Unless Asda are feeling particularly generous, I would expect an unspectacular product.Granted with NatWest you get 1.00% Cashback for supermarkets, but for everything else it’s 0.25% like the Barclaycard rewards.NatWest charge a 2.75% fee for foreign usage with Barclaycard rewards its 0.0%
cash fees with NatWest is 3.00% with Barclaycard it’s 0.0%.I guess it’s down to what your looking for in a credit card.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:2 -

After hanging on to see what Asda are offering, and it looks like nothing, we've decided to go Amex and RBS Rewards.
Doing the arithmetic, the Amex Platinum Rewards will generate the most for us but we needed a second for those places who don't take Amex. As we already have the rewards current account the credit card was simple to get and fee free. If we didn't already have the current account the Barclaycard looks more attractive.
And to all those who have got offers of a cashback credit card from Creation, damn you, lol. I'm really jealous.0 -

Barclaycard Rewards
My IHG credit card became one of these but I don't find the scheme rewarding enough to justify spending on it.1
