Unless amex have changed their ways, you will be inundated with junk mail, enough to paper your living room every few months. That's why I avoid anything amex, also some companies don't accept amex.paul2louise said:

Yes I know they are not accepted everywhere. I do have a Tesco clubcard credit card if I need it. Tbh I don't think I will be needing a credit card that much apart from online shopping and food shopping for quite some time. I have postponed my holiday abroad till 2021.Hopefully Asda will come up with an alternative eventually or another cashback card might do a deal soon enough.oxocubes said:

If you want vast amounts of paperwork try First Direct or HSBC....2

I have literally never ever had AMEX junk mail. not once. And I have been a customer for years. Maybe i "ticked a box" somewhere along the lines but I don't remember doing so.oxocubes said:

Email explains how to apply for a refund after closure, but I'm waiting to see what happens when the account is in credit on this last statement. I had a large refund go through and wonder if it will be returned to the automatic DD where my payment is usually taken from. Fuel companies do this with credit refunds, so don't see why Creation can't0

I can still login and print a voucher even though my email said they will post it. Site looks a bit different now with the Creation branding.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein1

It does indeed look rather different. It has most of the same Asda features that were there before but in blue and white rather than green and yellow, Oh and a big fat red stripe across the top warning me the account has restricted functionality.
I know it said it voucher creation would be available until September but I'd rather not go to the wire so just created my last one and balance is now zero.
They restored the list of previous vouchers too, something that was missing over the last few days on Asda's version. Looking at this list it makes me realise just how generous the rewards offered by these cards have been and a little sad it's no longer available.0 -
