Obviously only people who don't pay the whole amount off would be offered that card, but what's to stop them doing so in future? Can they then cancel it?

Of course, just as they cancelled the Asda card.

Excluding promotional offers, 2% cashback across the board is the best rate I've ever seen on a credit card and to be quite honest I'm rather jealous envious of the offer you've received.
Just because I'm nosy, all those who received the cashback offer from creation, do you ever carry a balance over from month to month or do you always pay off in full?

I pay in full most of the time, just occasionally run a balance like in January I’ll sometimes pay half and then pay the other half in February.

As above, I mostly pay mine in full every month.

I think the cards no different from any other, the lender can cancel any card, at any time.

I ment for the individual person, can't see them letting some have 2%, if they pay off in full and are losing money on it.

This was the reason I asked the question.
Asda dropped the cashback to 0.2% on other transactions but kept the 2% on Asda spending probably because it could offset the costs with profits from purchases and future purchases with the cashback vouchers.
Creation have no retail activity to do this so I can only think they have analysed people's spending habits and tried to entice those whom it thinks will be profitable with the offer of a decent cashback rate..

The Asda part was only ever 1% for my card.  BTW has anyone had problems getting their vouchers e-mailed?

I apologise, yes there were two types. The fee free was 1% and paid for card was 2%.

I think it was Tuesday or Wednesday when I created my final vouchers and they turned up okay.

Has anyone who was moved to the new card tried using their Asda one in the last couple of days?
Mine seems to have stopped working when the letter said it would continue until the new card arrived.
