SUCCESS - Thank you to everyone who has posted their success stories here it really helped me. I had the chat bot window open for over 6 hours with no luck. In a different browser window I had it open and refreshed it every now and again and only had to wait 15 minutes to get through.

leaving it open for hours doesn’t seem to prioritise you in any queue so I would recommend only waiting 15-20 minutes and trying again

I’ve got the same issue. I enter the correct details and get the same error message about the reference number and can’t get through on the telephone - a short message that lines are busy and then it disconnects. Appalling. Ryanair appear to intentionally frustrate the claims process. If it was an IT issue, there would be a message explaining this is an issue due to high volumes, rather than a misstatement that the reference numbers are incorrect.

I must have done over 50 submissions, basically kept on submitting every single time your application is rejected.
Yes, the reason was "Your flight reservation number is invalid. Please check the flight reservation number you have entered".

Keep on trying Guys!!!

i give up on the form submission. I'll try the phone a few more times with little hope and then try the on line chat - i had forgotten to refresh occasionally so will try that.

   im not sure about the 2 posters who say they had success,,, only 1 post each and its for success??? hhhmmmmmm Ryanair staff by chance? (very cynical me)
