Hi Folks, here is my secnario ;-)
    Flight out? - Saturday 21st
    Return flight? - Saturday 28th
Notified of cancellation ? Email or through booking? at first it was through my booking, BUT it wouldnt let me get a refund, i then recieved the email and txt (after i went to bed) i then tried at 02;04 and got it first time  B)
How Long to get refund? approx 12hrs
I would add that maybe you should wait until you recieve the email and the txt message as maybe then the refund has been released into the system.
I hope this helps anyone who is also trying. and maybe you wont need to sit for hours trying.
ALL THE BEST,, MORE IMPORTANT,, HOPE EVERYONE IS SAFE AND HEALTHY, we will get through this together ;-)
    Simster.
  • It’s 3.10 am and I can only say that having had the same trouble as everyone else it worked first time early in the morning. I used the chrome browser on my iPad. Huge thanks to those who suggested the change. I’ve spent hours hanging on the phone to customer service,....I even got a text after 45 minutes on the 0871number saying my spend cap was reached.

    persevere everyone

Guys, I did it. Just now. It is very difficult, but really possible.  I tried a thousand times. Yesterday and the day before.
And only now it happened! Thank you!
    My algorithm.
    1. If you receive "Your flight reservation number is invalid", you must clear the cookies.
    2. After that, you will begin to receive “End with  Captcha”.
I re-typed this CAPTCHA hundreds  times yesterday. But everything was in vain.
I woke up specially today earlier and half an hour ago I did it. But yes, it  took again about 20 minutes, you have to re-type Captcha code a lot of time

I got email confirmation from RA  earlier stating that FRG will not allow non schengen citizens through their airports. RA sent a cancellation form for full refund, went through swimmingly... so far.

Altho their  highly publicized talk of cancelling any fees for changing flight dates looks like a gimmick. Fees are still showing when I try to change flight dates for Berlin.
I just hope the refund is completed as expected, does anyone know if the full refund  will include  refund of baggage fees??
  • Finally got a result thanks to this forum. I woke up at 4.30 and tried again. Others seemed to have been successful with their claims made at ungodly hours.
Tried again. This time it said that instead of my reference number, my name was incorrect!  I checked the original itinerary email from Ryanair, the name was correct but it was in capital letters, so I amended the refund claim form name to capital letters and then re-submitted and got a confirmation message!
This has taken me longer to resolve than flying to Krakow and back. I sincerely hope no one working in the NHS or otherwise battling the virus is having their time wasted by Ryanair on making such claims.
  • Same here. My flights were cancelled yesterday.  I've been trying to get my refund back online , but  saying error with reference number invalid, or . I've tried telephone number, this morning no ring tone.

Ryanair please, please, sort out your website!!🤦‍♀️🙏🤞.
We can't afford to lose our money either! Thank you
  • I have been trying for 4 days solid now and the same message each time flight reservation is incorrect. I have used different devices apple, android etc and same message. On hold twice for an hour each time. I have sent twitter messages and still nothing, not even a reply. Everyone who has used BA / Easyjet etc seem to be getting refunds no problems. Is Ryanair holding onto our money in the hope people can fed up and don't bother? Maybe someone should start a petition? My flight was suppose to be on Sunday so I am hoping they don't turn round and say I should have put in a request before my flight was due. I have taken screenshots just incase. Someone on Twitter actually said they were a nurse and don't have time to deal with this.. absolutely shocking from Ryanair!

My wife and I must have tried 100 times yesterday all with the incorrect reservation number message.
I woke up at 0330 this morning and gave it a go. It worked second time then. First time it asked me to enter the CAPTCHA code. Must be to do with the traffic volume on the site.
Ryanair should redeploy their staff to the refunds department for the time being.

  • I tried it via the website's "EU261 Compensation/Expense Claims" section at ryanair's "help center". (Sorry, I'm completely new here and cannot post links).
It allowed me to submit the application for a refund and accepted my flight reservation number without error notice.
Apparently this EU261 regulation is also a way of getting refunds for cancelled flights.

    Hope this helps..
