Just want to add that I too had success with the constant re submitting, like someone else mentioned on here, I did it at around midnight based on their reports of it working at that time. I had been trying all day with nothing, sometimes 20/30 times in a run. But last night it took me about 5/10 attempts and it finally went through, I had two separate bookings, both were confirmed. Keep trying, and perhaps also try late at night.2

- I picked up online that the out flight would be cancelled the night before (16/03) and that a refund was on offer for both directions, so immediately tried to take this, but was not able to for what turned out to be this ongoing saga of rejected codes.
I meant to add that although I was given the option to cancel the whole booking in both directions, the return flight is still showing as flying on my booking - although I have been 'checked out' again by RA. This flight can still be booked online, as indeed can all the subsequent flights to and from this 'closed' route. Not helpful - particularly in view of the following ...Some may not have picked up on the latest (as of yesterday midday) 'coronavirus' missive from RA as follows:We will overcome. We always do. Think positive.'Our flight schedules have been hugely disrupted by these Government restrictions and will be subject to further cuts:
From 24:00 hrs Wed 18 Mar until 24:00 hrs Tue 24 Mar, Ryanair Group Airlines will cut flight schedules by over 80%. All affected customers will receive an email to advise them of their options and we kindly ask customers not to call us as our call centres are overloaded dealing with customer queries.- From 24:00 hrs Tue 24 Mar we expect that most if not all Ryanair Group flights will be grounded, except for a very small number of flights to maintain essential connectivity, mostly between the UK and Ireland. Details of these severely reduced schedule can be found on the Travel Advisory page on the Ryanair.com website, which will be updated regularly.'

Just another observation, following a p/m query received about the 'success' 'acknowledgement' received:The web form returned after any 'success' in getting through is in fact no more than an acknowledgement of your request for refund. It is not an agreement to refund! It only says:'Once approved your refund request will be processed within 7 working days to the original form of payment and should show in your account within the next 5-7 working days, A confirmation email will be sent to the address provided in your booking.'This continues to be both evasive and ambiguous in a significant number of ways throughout, but I would personally interpret the confirmation email part as probably being an email only to be sent following any (if any?) refund is approved and subsequently made - sometime between 7 or 14 working days from the receipt date. I am assuming that it will be the best part of a fortnight before I hear anything - if at all.

I've had the same problem. Was getting the message about wrong booking reference number.Just called them and waited 35m to speak to an adviser. They asked me whether I want to reschedule or refund. I asked for refund and she processed the refund and advised me that it can take up to 28 days for the money to be in my bank account. Just hope I will get my money back.Good luck to everyoneBe patient and wait. Is worth it!
