Is there any chance that Ryanair might waive flight change fees for the month of July?

Ryanair have cancelled an upcoming flight on 6th April that I had booked. On their website it confirms that the flight has been cancelled and I have two options to click on - "Get Refund" or "Change Flight". However, when I try and click on either option it just returns me to the homescreen even though the highlighted Refund link should be going to https://www.ryanair.com/gb/en/booking/active/refund
Anyone else having the same problem? I've tried calling their helpline but it just cuts off and says they're too busy - I don't even get to join a queue
    Cheers

Typical Ryanair. The link the publish on their website is not the correct one you need to actually get a refund. The correct one is

This is unbelievable. I'm entering my details into the form and it now says
"Unfortunately we cannot process your application for one of the following reasons:
Your flight reservation number is invalid. Please check the flight reservation number you have entered"
I'm literally cut and pasting their reservation number into their system!
  • Exactly the same problems here.
Friend was due to travel in a few days time, we heard a couple of days ago that all flights to that country had been cancelled so tried to cancel the booking this evening. At first, the booking didn't have a "refund" button, then after trying to use the chatbot (waited approx 30 mins with no response) and failing, we refreshed the bookings page and found a new heading: "There's a disruption on your trip" and the "Get Refund" button had appeared. Oddly even though the site says elsewhere all flights have been cancelled "until 24:00 Tuesday 31st  March", only the return leg on the 1st of April is marked with the red flight cancelled icon. The outward leg on 22 March appears unchanged, implying it might not be cancelled. Clicking "Get Refund" produces the message: " There was a problem refunding your flight" with a direction to customer services. That route ends with the "Your flight reservation number is invalid" result mentioned above. It was cut and pasted too, as above. I wonder if the website/database is not being updated with latest cancellation information?
If anyone from Ryanair tech support is reading here and can forward our issues (what are the chances?), please do!

I'm having a similar issue, but instead of the reservation number, the message is "Flight has not been cancelled or delayed > 3 hours". I've been trying to solve this for 3 days now but no solution so far.
  • Same problem here. My cancelled flight has a Laudamotion (OE) flight number, are yours OE or FR flights?
  • I am getting "your flight reservation number is invalid. Please check the flight reservation number you have entered
Mapryn did you manage to register your refund in the end? What do we do just keep trying?
  • I am having the same problem, please let me know if anyone find a solution for this.
  • Update to earlier post:
Noticed in the early hours today our outward leg has now been marked cancelled too.
FWIW, we have a flight number prefix FR. I noticed this is automatically adjusted in the "Affected Flight Number:" field on the refund claim form when the Airline Code Ryanair (FR) is chosen in the dropdown above, so we have tried entering just the numbers without the prefix in the box but also tried including the prefix in the box just in case. No difference in result.
We were not aware of the difference between FR and UK when we booked and didn't notice any indication that these are different airlines. We have tried both options in the Airline Code box but still are receiving the "Your flight reservation number is invalid" message. Also no difference in result.
There must be either some unknown error we are making, or I guess the refund system is overloaded or faulty.
Currently waiting to see if chat support will reply.
We shall keep trying and if any info comes along that might be of use, shall update again. Good luck to all.
