Ryanair refund thread

I have the same problems as all of you. I tried it many times within 16.03.-17.03.2020 in various browsers and computers.
Result was always error message  "There was a problem refunding your flight" 
or error message  "Flight Reservation Number is invalid" or Further update; the error message has changed to "please complete the captcha". Repeated several times, no luck.
Eventually the captcha display disappeared so there was nothing to complete.
Then I found by chance this form
https:**//**contactform.**ryanair.**com/   (WHEN TRYING, DO OMIT ALL THE ASTERISKS )
After filling and sending it I got confirming email from ryanairen@ryanair.com claiming  "Your query has been registered under No: ..."
I am of the opinion that somebody of you who are in Britain or Ireland should escalate this issue to the media.
The more we will complain publicly the more chance they give us our money back.

Hi Folks, I have a problem with Ryanair as well,, they wont refund us because the flight is apparently "Not Cancelled" now we cant get on it off course as there is a complete ban in spain, so we can only now try and rebook, however I have no more holidays left to take this year and it don't go beyond march next year,, so am I supposed to simply roll over and let them tickle my belly and rob me of my fares and baggage?
could I cancel my credit card payment to them?

Same problem here. Kept trying all day and kept getting different answer every time. One time it's incorrect booking reference, then it's incorrect flight number, and then it's 'flight not cancelled' message! If you find out how to go around this without hanging on the phone for hours, please share!

Hi guys, Yes same 'bug' on the Ryanair refund page as reported.
Many thanks for the phone number currently been waiting for an hour..... Will report back if I get through or not.

Customer service centre is now closed - closed at 6pm!!!

Thanks. I would of sat on that hold music all night. Another thing to add to their list - to have a note when the centre is closed and no longer taking calls.

Please, explain in detail how they helped you with the refund for your cancelled flight?
What have you to do on Ryanair's web?

I just called them and waited 45m to speak to am adviser, the gave my reference and he checked in his system and asked me whether I want to reschedule or refund. I asked for refund and he processed the refund and advised me because of many transactions refund can take time to come into my account.  So hope I will get my money back.
