Ryanair refund thread

Same here, I've tried everything besides calling them
1. Website refund button doesn't work and gives an error with a link to the general form for refunds
2. Webform says reference invalid (not true as I just got it with the cancelled flight email)
3. Live chatbot 'speak to person' button doesn't work - nothing happens (FAQs next to it does)
4. No response on twitter chatbot
5. No response on Facebook (only to people who praise Ryanair) and there are thousands of people asking for this to be fixed

I'm having the same problems. When I fill in the refund form its saying that I'm entering the wrong booking ref number. I've tried contacting Ryanair by phone but always engaged then I get cut off. I have contacted on-line chat and I was put in a queue. There was over a 6 hour wait to chat to someone, I had been waiting over 4 hours and then was disconnected and chatbot is also a waste of time. Ryanair are just not helping.0

Having same problem. This is not just system fault. I'm pretty sure this is intentional and dirty behaviour by Ryanair itself. They do not want to give us ours money back!!!!

Has anyone had any luck either by calling them or via the online chat? Are we pretty sure this is a system error - anyone got any ideas on how to solve it? IS there anything we can do?0

Further update; the error message has changed to "please complete the captcha". Repeated several times, no luck. Eventually the captcha display disappeared so there was nothing to complete.
Agusya: there was no response from chat. I had to leave after 30-40 mins.
More info later if anything changes, ttfn

Error message changed again. The "Validating application" page showed for longer than before, then a different dialogue box appeared:
Now it's gone back to the "Your flight reservation number is invalid." message.
roberttaperjointer: I feel your annoyance but I suspect this isn't intentional, but an unprecedented situation overwhelming the refund process. I guess it means Ryanair having to communicate back to customers and their banks and credit card companies etc., with all the complexities of banking security, at levels they never expected to handle.
Let's see what happens later on. It might take a day or two for all the comms to wash through the system. Does anybody know if there's a deadline for refund applications?
Catch up again later, cheers

Same here, anyone tried getting a refund on Airport Parking booked through Ryanair. They have a list of their parking partners who they refer you to. When contacted, these parking companies then refer you back to Ryanair.1

I am having same problem, can we not escalate this issue to the media?
I am worried that this issue will not be fixed in time (due to fly on 27th March) and will not be able to get a refund for cancelled flights0 -
