So I phoned today as I said in my previous msg and Ive been told its all sorted but I still havent received an email re this. BUT my flight was today and I've received an email with a different link for refund or change flight with my flight number already on . so maybe everyone will receive this email on a date of their flight0

I had the same problem, been trying to get refund through app and it kept telling me reservation no. was wrong when it wasnt. Then I tried the link in the cancellation email they sent me and it worked first time.0

Zeplusoif said:So I have another experience of success. Today I received an email that my flight was cancelled, and there was a link for the reimbursement. This one I tried 50 times, to no avail.By chance I reviewed an email I had received yesterday from Ryan Air, basically telling me that there was a EU ban for non Schengen areas, but I hadn't to worry if I was a citizen of the Schengen area. So initially I didn't pay attention further to that email, because I am a citizen of the Schengen area. But actually there is a link also in that email, for a refund (for those who are not a citizen of the Schengen area). Well, I clicked on that link, it was a different page (url like schdchng.ryanair.com with a long appendix), but with the same information to fill out as the form we are all struggling with. I filled out the information, clicked once on Confirm, and that was it. Refund was done.

I dont believe a word of any of these so called positive comments that folk have got refunds, ive tried now for over 1000 times in different browsers in the last 4 days and no matter what i do, i get the same message or that i need to re submit the capta code, personally i think Ryanair are having our pants down in an effort to block any refunds and force a more expensive change of flight, i wish someone from Ryanair would call me, rather than me call the @ 55p per meinute to resolve, i'll be taking this issue up with the national press unless i get a positive response before the weekend........ Cheesed off is not the word......

Hallelujah. I've been up since 2am and finally succeeded at 2:55am. Well when I say succeeded, I mean no more errors as the message that appears on screen only confirms the application has gone through. It still needs to be approved which will probably take a few days given the current working restrictions. Another waiting game for the paying customer0

Hi! I register in this forum to help people not to give up. I was also becoming frustrated once since 13:00 of 19/03/2020 I was trying to get refunded from ryanair. I found this forum by googling the web at 19:00 then i went dinner (meantime my girlfirend received the ryanair email at 18:25) and from 22:30 of until 2:53 of 20/3/2020 (I stayed awake during all time) I finally got my message of refund succeeded almost when i was about to give up for the day, get some sleep and give it an endless try once again during the day. I installed chrome on my windows laptop (just for the record). I consider it is really a pain trying to get succeeded from the refund form always getting that anoying message that the flight reservation number is invalid among other messages already stated by other users in this forum. I could not afford the phone alternative so I never tried although I filled the online reclaim form, tryied the EU261 form with no success, enter the chat which I considered useless (stating that someone would talk to me 3 hours later), sent an email to the ryanair which returned me an automatic message full of links to the ryanair website different pages that I had already visited and did not solve my problem. After I lot of persistence with the refund form I finally got succeeded. Do not give up and try during all night if necessary. Ryanair does not respect the customers and I think they should deserve nothing. From this so bad experience I will try to avoid ryanair flights whenever I can because we, customers, dont deserve to feel helpless without any support and worst without making a clue to whom to return to. All together against this Covid19 virus!0
