When we applied for the refund, the message said "We'll process your request in 20 working days, and expect the money in your account 5-7 days after that". Our original request for cash refund was on May 16th , so 20 working days is this Friday 12th June, so let's see if there's any update on say Monday 15th ....unlikely, but we'll follow their rules. so when they break them they have no come back.

How long does it take to get through to a Customer Care Agent once you have "dissed the bot" - I have been connected for one and a half hours so far !!

I got through in about 5 minutes.  My mate tried last night and waited ages, but tried again this morning and got through quite quick.  Think it depends on time of day and luck.  Would have thought 3pm was a good time.

Took me 15 minutes earlier; took another 15 minutes to confirm my identity; took another 15 minutes for the 'human' to answer my query. Rubbish, in other words.

I received an email on 16th May to advise my flight to Poland in June has been cancelled, I followed the link to apply for a full refund and completed the details required in the online form, today I have received another email which I can only describe as pushing me to accept a voucher, the email contains no details on how I continue my application for a full refund, has anybody else had any similar issues?

Yes - I had flight cancellation email on 20/5, applied for refund same day using the link in their email. Had voucher emails ever since, except yesterday's suggested I had to *reapply* for the refund. Went on to the chat and asked if that was the case, the humanoid stated that they'd processed my refund application, I'd receive a confirmation email within 2 days (it came later today), and the refund within '10 weeks'. So, the act of engaging with the chat team seems to have set off another process for my refund that may or may not have happened had I'd have sat on the original application. Utterly bewildering...

Should say too, as they've broken EU 261/2004 (seventh day was over a week ago) I've started a chargeback process. 10 weeks is not justifiable under any circumstances. And in future, to think I'd ever again part with a penny to a shambolic firm that treats customers like this? Never.
  • FINALLY GOT A REFUND!
Looks like they’re working their way through, my flight was cancelled 19th March (flight was for the 28th March). I applied for the refund straight away and got the 20 day lead time message with the 5-7 day refund once approved, then got the voucher I didn’t ask for a month or so later. I rejected the voucher via DM on a twitter as couldn’t get through on the phone and seem to recall eventually sending an email.

Just got an email today to say refund has been processed and it’ll be back on my card in 5-7 days. So hopefully those with a similar timeline will start to get their refunds soon.

Good news; but 3 months?! Dreadful! I know these are unprecedented times, but that's really poor.
