  • Hi,  after trying on and off for three days on my phone have just logged in using Chrome on laptop thanks to another users advice and got past the error messages. Whoop whoop so delighted as our flights at 6.30am tom.
Look forward to travelling again when this is over. Stay safe everyone.
  • For those who managed through the website, did you get an email confirmation of the cancellation?
  • I have been trying to request a refund since Tuesday, being repeatedly told that my flight reference number is wrong. As my booking is for a date 2 weeks in the future I’m fairly calm about it for now but the lack of information on the Ryanir website really bugs me more than anything. Their customer service is abysmal..
  • Had another new one. After trying the ineffective refund screen eventually it said I needed to type in the Captcha, but of course there was no captcha in existence! Been at it all day now.

I've read a lot of the posts here about this.  I've just managed to do it first time without issue.

I haven't received a flight cancellation email from Ryanair yet.  I just noticed on the app that the flight had been cancelled.

I logged into the booking on their website, clicked Get A Refund, went through the steps on the form and it submitted first time.

After a conversation with customer service yesterday I am still waiting for an email to confirm the refund. I did in the meantime have a text from Ryanair telling me to check my emails, so I did and I got the 'new' cancellation email with another link. Not sure whether to follow it or whether to trust my conversation yesterday! I will wait for the 24 hours to be up and if there is no email I will follow the new link! It just shouldn't be this difficult or worrying, but (as one always making excuses for poor service) it must be an incredibly difficult time for them as they are bombarded with requests of all sorts - that doesn't excuse their poor web site/links etc. i know, but I feel sorry for the actual staff working for Ryanair at this time.
was your flight on the day when you got than email?
Hi - no. My flight was to be on Sunday 22 March. I first received a cancellation email last Tuesday, with a text to my phone also, asking me to check my emails. I have had three of these now. In the emails they tell me the flight is cancelled and ask me to claim a refund or change the flights. So I haven't had a problem with them letting me know about the cancellation, although the standard 'you are about to leave on holiday' emails have still been coming through but they are just the scheduled emails that haven't been stopped - don't be confused. Also when I go on the booking in the app or on line it says cancelled. Still waiting for the refund confirmation email however!! Hmmmm!
so I would assume this email you and me got after calling is the result of that phone call .  I wonder if anyone else got it after phoning
No I don't believe the email I got today was a result of the call I made yesterday. The email I got today was just a revision of the ones I got earlier with an additional link in. So I waited the full 24 hours since my conversation with the customer care line of which I have absolutely no evidence, and an email didn't arrive so I used the link in the email I received today. Strainght through to a form which already had my flight reservation number on, I filled in a few details and sent it. There was a response that it has been submitted for approval but I still don't have any evidence that I submitted this!!!

The refund website does now appear to be working. I just did mine and it went through straightaway and got a confirmation that the refund would be processed within 7 working days once approved (I kept a pdf copy of this as proof). I also managed to get through on the RA online chat service earlier this afternoon after a 5 hour wait time. Good luck all!

    Hi all.
I just logged on today 5:05 pm and filled out the form. It went through 1st time!!!!!
I did not that the return flight had been cancelled which it had not before. Hoping this might b3 a valid reason for the problems everyone’s having. Hmmmmmmm ....... now to wait......

did you get email confirmation or just confirmation on the internet? I thought I'd got an email but I went back and it was just an internet advice which is no longer there! I am still waiting for an email!
