Hi, I’m due to travel July 3rd. Heard jet 2 are beginning to start flights again June 18th. If I don’t feel comfortable travelling so soon, even though the airline/ holidays back on, can I ask for a refund or delay my holiday with them till later in the year?
Most unlikely that this will happen , September or October at the earliest before holiday flights start.

Wait and let them cancel and ask to rebook or cancel then

Has anybody managed to get through to them? I've had a holiday cancelled and their phone lines are closed. The sceptic in me makes me think they appear to be delaying with the hope new legislation will mean they do not have to give refunds? I want a refund but can not talk to anyone. Anyone had any luck?
If you read the thread , yes people have got through.

Remember they are running customer service centres on an extremely reduced level with a historically high levels of calls.

They are working through in date order but are likely snowed under.

  • Does anyone else think it's a little suspicious that Jet 2 are no longer answering the phones or emails? It seems to me they're scaring people into paying the full balance on the due date as there is no way of obtaining a refund if you've paid more than the deposit.

When are you due to fly? They are contacting people advising their options based on when they are due to travel. If you are trying to jump the queue then it is inevitable that you will have problems getting a response.

What is it that you need to contact them about? Most questions seem to have been discussed on this forum already.
  • Were due to fly july 18th, we just want a refund minus the deposit. The balance is due in a few weeks but no guarantee they will cancel the holiday yet and I really dont fancy going.
  • Does anyone know where Jet2 are up to date wise with contacting customers. We were booked for 15th May, and I am just trying to work out when they might contact me.

Also is want to cancel rather than rebook can this be done online through manage my booking or do I need to wait for them to contact me

You will have to wait for then to call you I'm afraid. I'm assuming you paid the balance some time ago so cancelling online isn't an option.

The website says you can cancel online if you're over 70 days before the departure date and you've only paid the deposit. I cannot confirm that as we've paid more than the deposit so we dont get the option.

The staff that are available will be deployed in the most efficient manner. No doubt conspiracy theories abound on social media.
  • Jet 2 cancelled my April 11th Flight to Fuerteventura on the 20th March. Today I have received an email stating that I cancelled my flights and cannot get a refund as Jet2 is A NON REFUND AIRLINE. !!!!!!.
The cost of these flights was nearly £1000. Where do I stand on this? any advice would be appreciated.
I have flights booked for August with this airline, but at this rate, I'll never fly with them again.

Jet 2 holidays sent me an email telling me my holiday has been cancelled.  I went onto the website filled in the cancellation form and tried to phone the number for a refund. It was impossible to get through. A couple of days later I received a credit note but I wanted a refund. If I cant get through on the number they gave how do I stand
