Jet2 refund thread

Hi can anyone help? I have a jet 2 flight booked nextTuesday (7days away) their phone permanently engaged and can’t get through. I paid in Amex who said to take up with airline. Due to current situation I need my refund back ASAP .. any thoughts ?

You'll just have to wait until you can get in touch with the airline or they contact you to confirm the flight is cancelled and give you options.  I doubt you'll be getting your money back any time soon.

Jet2 are being very good for refunds.

Wait for the formal cancellation email and then I'm afraid it's a case of ringing and waiting in the queue

Good luck with getting money back soon. You will probably end up with a voucher like everybody else

Trying sending a tweet. They do take a while in coming back to you but at least it saves the phone bill.

jet2 have confirmed all flights grounded until 17 june ,  if my flights were late May, how do i get a refund ?  the telephone number is permanenty engaged, only option online is to rebook for next year but due to finances i would rather get a refund ?

You will get a refund automatically within 2 weeks.

Hi is anyone having problems getting a refund - they have said I can pay more for a holiday next year or have a credit note which needs to be used by June 2020

Their FB page (and the email you presumably got) clearly says dont ring them, so why are you ignoring this and wasting your own time on hold?

We got a full refund for our flight.No problem with Jet2
