Good evening everyone
Well done Losers!👏
Ditty hobbit breakfasts are lovely after a morning walk, when it’s still too early for elevenses and the first breakfast is just a memory 😄
SIRENS STS plateaus happen, if you’ve been sticking to what you know works, then your body is shifting stuff around, stay with it and you’ll shed pounds again
Weighing in with a very well earned +2lbs - “well-earned” because I ignored what I knew was right and scoffed Too Much of the Wrong Stuff. Weak-willed comfort eater, that was Blue Doggy last week😫 (Ok, I had a cold and ate for that, but ...). Line being drawn under it, and back on the waggon.
Today’s food
B : porridge
D : baked duck breast, peas, carrots, cabbage; strawberries & yogurt
T : banana with fat-free yogurt
S : 200g pack of crystallised ginger 😋 and three squares of chocolate“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Evening all I hope you all had a good weekend 🙂. I'll update the weekend weigh ins tomorrow from my work laptop as it's easier than the tablet when I get behind 🙄
other than gardening its it's been a quiet weekend I went as far as the garden centre for more compost to fill my new planters and that's around the corner. My sister came round this afternoon to inspect the garden and sit for a gossip and cuppa before acquiring a large garden pot and a cucumber plant I was lucky not to lose more 😳
Lunch was the last of my vegetable chilli and rice and dinner was rump steak, air fried chips, asparagus and French beansLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin11 -
Just catching up with thread before I go to bed.
SIRENS - I am definitely more stressed now than I was during the lockdown proper. I'm hoping the people working from home can continue to do for as long as it takes as that leaves more room for the rest of us. Your place sounds like ours - stable doors being bolted when the horses have already disappeared over the horizon! Do everything that you can to keep yourself safe - that's what I'm doing. The world can go shopping and protesting and down to the beach if it wants to, but I'll carry on work. home and C00p when necessary. It helps that I am by nature practically a hermit. Virtually distanced hugs heading your way.
Night all.
Rxx

Hello all, I've had a busy week sorry. The cat has tonsilitis (£68 at the vet) - who even knew that cats had tonsils, sigh? It's a posh cat so it gets weird things. So far I've managed to insert medication without ending up in A&E but the better the cat feels the harder it is. Just tomorrow left now and then hopefully we're done unless she manages to produce another mystery illness.
I've stayed the same this week but my sister has anounced that we're giving up sugar from tomorrow. Apparently she was only one point away from pre-diabetes and dad is diabetic so it can't hurt can it. I have very little idea of what I'm going to be eating except that it will involve very little in the way of carbs. I'll keep you posted. It will also be interesting to see if it works.
Take care all of you10 -
Kept to yesterday's plan - probably helps to post it here. Here's today's:
B - coffee, shreddies, pecan nuts, cherry yogurt
M - coffee, 1 cookie
L - sliced apricot and cheese on wholemeal toast, coffee
A - apple
D - quiche, baked beans, apricot, apple
(1730 calories - need to cut back further each day otherwise will be stand still)

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin9 -
Morning all
I think I've caught up correctly please shout if I've got it wrongMolly if I'm right you have reached your target which is great especially with all your health issues
Cranky I had to re-read your post, after a life time of being owned by cats I've never heard of one with tonsillitisbut ouch on the vet bill, it's just as well we love them isn't it. Mine is behind on his annual jabs but I don't think they are doing them yet, maybe after today when shops etc are beginning to open? I'll need to check on how much leeway there is before he has to start anew as he reacts to them so I would prefer he doesn't have to have two infections again. I also love that your sister has announced that you are giving up sugar
but as you say it can't hurt although depending on much you usually have watch out for head aches
Better show willing and get back to work, my 10.00am meeting was cancelled but I've a feeling my manager will skype soon following a meeting he is currently on.........
