Hello x
Thank you for your kind comments - you are a lovely bunch.
Yes we made friends and had a quiet anniversary.
Ive got to be a big girl and pull up the proverbial knickers as I am on the 2 week wait for breast clinic - Im hoping its a cyst but who knows - I just wonder which part of my body will go wrong next!!!
Anyway will WI tomorrow but not hopeful as too much nibbling this week !
Hugs to you all xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Let's draw a thick, thick veil over today. Suffice it to say that I baked a replacement batch of biscuits, then went on to bake a sponge cake and while the oven was on I made half a dozen chicken and ham pasties to use up some odds and ends I had. All these I sampled with gay abandon and very, very unmindfully. By then I felt stuffed, uncomfortable and guilty so treated myself to a bag of crisps to make myself feel better. It didn't,
The thick black line has been drawn.
Hope you enjoyed your anniversary Molly. xI believe that friends are quiet angels

Good evening everyone
thank you for kind enquiries after my health, it all seems to be going in the right direction, although I’m still feeling quite cold and a bit under the weather. I’m sorry I didn’t post yesterday, both canine doggies were fast asleep and snoring, and I fell asleep, too (can’t comment on the snoring though 😄).Congratulations to those who’ve lost 👏 and to those who’ve stayed the same 👍. Also very well done to everyone who’s been brave enough 🎖 to try on their used-to-fit-me clothes, and extra congratulations when they do. 🥳
I haven’t pulled the “too-smalls” out yet, but I know I shall need new underwear soon, so must get on and get losing, as I don’t want to have to buy any more megagimongous sizes ever again.
I had another delivery of fruit veg & salad today: I’m now making notes of what to look out for/ask for, e.g. free range not cage eggs, and local or at least British/UK produce. Buying this way I’m supporting a local independent shop, but then the trade-offs start.
I can’t remember what I ate yesterday, and didn’t write it in my food diary, but today I have eaten:
B : porridge
L : chicken salad (hm coleslaw with hm salad dressing, tomato); apple
D : grilled sausages, cauliflower, carrots, peas; strawberries & cream
S : packet (9) chocolate ginger biscuits (chosen instead of a giant doughnut from the village bakery when I went to post some letters and buy milk). 🤔 might the doughnut have been better?“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Molly <<hugs>> deep breath honey
Izadora well done on your STS, I was told by my sister and nephews that I was in their bubble 😁 no choice. I got a big hug from my nephews tonight when I dropped something off for my sister, they said they weren't waiting until Saturday as it's been too long for me already 🥰
Glad you're feeling a little better Blue I think you could be right about the donut probably being less calories than a pack of biscuits, as long as you enjoyed them 🙂
Monna I'll lend you my ruler 🍪 🍪🍪🍪🍪. ____________________________
B - peach, strawberries, blueberries
L - gammon, Brie and crackers followed by SF jelly with mixed berries
D - vegetable chilli with rice and quinoa (three portions of chilli made with two tbsp of peanut butter added to the sauce)
S - apricots and grapes

Brambling - glad you got a real life hug and that you have a bubble x
Im not WI today as I spent most of the night drinking copious quantities of tea so it won't be a true reflection but I will WI tomorrow x
Well done to those who have lost or STS and positive hugs to those who have gained xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Did my WI today and I am STS
The scales this morning say 12st 9.5lbs. I still do a little dance inside to be so firmly away from the 13s. Slightly annoying that the scales have been as low as 12st 7lbs this week, but I know there are so many factors at play (including a 5am WI and this week's chips and biscuits) and from experience it will probably be down next week if I keep on keeping on
It means in new money that I am yo-yoing around the 80kg mark so my goal this week is to firmly kick the 80's into touch and get into those 70's. Once the 70's are done I will be into the decade of my birth and life will be completeAim is to get into the 60's before I get into my 60's
Just had to take moment to consider reaching 60 (years) and all that it means. It makes me a little emotional but I do know that I need to lose this weight, get fit and keep learning to make the most of the next years.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Hmm yesterday went slightly wrong, as was a long day, went into work and was just tired when I got home and fell asleep.
B oats, banana, musli
L 2 rye w pesto and chorizo and cucumber - all still fine
Snack yoghurt w banana and cornflakes - and ... forgot what else (tin of herring(don't judge))
Late dinner pasta w chicken, corn and peas
And a pint of beer
Absolutely no exercise, only a short walk w dog.
Anyways so not a disaster, but definitely not conductive for the weigh in tomorrow.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning All,
Molly I'm glad you had a good anniversary and, while I know it's pretty much impossible, try not to worry too much about your breast clinic appointment
monnagran I hope the thick line and a fresh start for today go well. Your bakes and makes yesterday do sound delicious though
Blue Doggy I hope you enjoyed your snoozy day with the dogs. If you're still a bit under the weather hopefully the sleep will have done you good
Brambling I'm so pleased that you got a hug from your nephews and I agree with them that waiting for Saturday would have been too long
supersaver Well done on your STS and your 60/60s goals sound great
ditty Your day really doesn't sound bad at all, sometimes when it's been a long day you're best to do whatever you need to and I'm sure it won't affect tomorrow's weigh in
Black Saturn I hope things start to calm down and give you the time to take care of yourself a bit more
Not really much to report here. Being back at work yesterday seemed to help with not snacking too much and I was really craving veg so, even though it was probably a bit too big a portion, dinner was reasonably healthy. I have no idea what to have today, it'll very much depend on what in the fridge needs using up first but should involve a sensible amount of veg.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx12 -

Hi
Well done to the sts and losers.
Fingers crossed Molly It’s just what you hope it is.
Weigh day -3.5lbs for me please Brambling.
Yesterday I had double the amount of chocolate I’d planned for. I over salted the crispy spinach, still ate it all then wanted to eat sweet things.
On the menu today:
Breakfast: Greek yoghurt, berries, desiccated coconut. Coffee with cream.
Lunch: tuna steak with steamed spinach and mangetout and a little sweet chilli sauce.
Dinner: retro salad with a little bit of ham, cheese, roast chicken, 1/2 a boiled egg and salad cream. Lemon cheesecake pudding thingy with nuts.
Evening snack: milk chocolate.
Take care all.
