Hi everyone, I have woken up this morning full of the joys of Spring. Steve is making a nice cooked breakfast so all I can smell is bacon and my tummy is rumbling.
My diet is still going great, I am not missing sugar or bread yet
Well done Round on getting a new car, hopefully it will give you as much pleasure as your last one xx
Also, well done to supersaver on getting back into smaller clothes, such a great achievement xx
My meals yesterday were
b - kippers
l - ham and camembert salad
d - sea bass and ratatouille
s - Ryvita, dairylea and tomato
Todays meals are likely to be
b - bacon, eggs, sausage, plum tomatoes and mushrooms
l - tuna salad
d - lamb's liver and onions with cabbage, green beans and sprouts
ditty1234, What you can't see is the quantity of food on my plate, I put loads and loads of veg on so it is a substantial meal. You are not alone with having a healthy appetite.
Hope you all have a great day and make good choices, take care xx

Hope you got to work safely in the new car Roundtuit. It will feel a bit strange at first because you actually have to think about what you are doing, where soon it will become as automatic as the last one was. I don't mean that the car is automatic, I mean that your responses will be ..............oh, well. You know what I mean.
Hope you are feeling a bit better today Blue. Nothing more miserable than a summer cold. In the winter you can cosy yourself up and settle down until it gets better, but it feels wrong to do that in the summer.
My fence is being painted as we speak and I am about to have a go at making another batch of biscuits. Yesterday's was cherry and almond so I'll do choc chips today. Fingers crossed. I told him about yesterday's biscuit disaster and said he could have the broken pieces to feed the birds. His eyes gleamed, so I don't think the birds will get too much biscuit.
I won't go into yesterday's food. Biscuitgate sort of took over.I believe that friends are quiet angels

*zippy* said:I decided to clean the outside of my windows tonight, I was very pleased with myself until I went indoors
The sun was shining and what a mess they were, worse than before I started so had to go back out and I did them all again with vinegar. Think I've burnt some calories anyway lol xx
. . .
Will have to breath in a lot when I get on the scales tomorrow for a weekly weigh-in - this morning it looked like 9 stone, so up 3 from last week!

Hello hope you are all doing well today x
I have strayed a bit as did some mindful baking with DH (he is on holiday this week) - we made Millionaires Short cake. I just had to clean out the condensed milk tins - memories of child hood, and taste the toffee mixture (burning my mouth - serves me right) so will refrain from trying the finished product tonight - but may have a nibble tomorrow!
Sending positive hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.9 -
Good evening everyone
Thank you, kind people, for your good wishes. I’ve been a bit better today, but not as I’d like. Icy cold hands, but no covid symptoms (I keep testing my sense of smell).
Well done all who are wearing (or nearly) size-down clothes.👍
roundtuit congratulations on your new car! May it take you safely wherever you wish to go.

Thank you Roundtuit and Dumpling. It really is satisfying to get back into the too smalls! I had another try on of the 'too small' shelf today. Oh my goodness the size 12 jeans (stretch) pretty much fit with not too much muffin top. The last time I put those on I was busting out all over and couldn't breathe. So they've gone into my wardrobe, together with a size 14 dress - yes a dress!! Eventually I was left with only a small pile of things that really didn't fit, or I wouldn't wear until I'd lost another half a stone, and I managed to squeeze those last few things onto a corner of a shelf in my main wardrobe. It finally means that all my clothes are together - which feels great and makes it easier to do my capsule wardrobe review and donate some more stuff. It is a lovely feeling to ditch the clothes alongside the pounds that went with themOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

A week on from joining I have to admit to gaining 2 lb (not quite as bad as it seemed yesterday). It was to be expected as my daily calorie intake averaged 2089 and any serious exercise was limited to 2 days. Today's plan reaches below 1600 calories and I hope to be outside more.

Hi just on here to say that even though my weight is not showing any difference - I just put on a pair of trousers I haven't worn for over a year(because they're purple and a bit tight) but watch this ... they fit on with out shoehorn and elastic bands. So I'm as happy as a puppy :-) And obviously this was inspired by other people in this thread digging back through the back of their closets.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
