I've just been through the breast clinic experience and it was like a well oiled machine. On the assessment visit I met the consultant with a nurse, he took my history and examined me. I went straight to mammogram then into ultrasound. I had a biopsy taken on the same day, and attended a results clinic a week later. I honestly felt, right from the reception desk, that I was in safe trustworthy hands. They really do know what they are doing. It was great to get all those investigations done on the same day rather than separate appointments with waits inbetween them. Fingers crossed for you honey, you have such a lot on health wise it doesnt seem fair at all. Big hug.

Well done on STS Supersaver
and GingerLily you've smashed your target so congratulations
I'm sitting killing time until I can log off at 5pm tonightWe have been working late all week so i've run out of steam and as I'm not on another conference call I can sneak off on time
We were promised rain today and we have had barely anything less than 5mm in a bowl outside, I'm hoping for a little more so I can get out of watering later. This growing of veg is ok until we hit a dry patchand I'm trying not to think of water meters. I've some new containers / troughs delivered today to go down the side of my fence where there is a half meter gap and nothing has survived other than mint and brambles (I think my old neightbour use to put something down as a weedkiller his side) so that's my chore for tomorrow to weed where they are going, it's currently gravel and sort them out I have the compost and some dwarf fruit bushes to go in them
L - HM KFC chicken made in the airfryer with HM coleslaw and salad
D - LO vegetable chilli and rice
S - two crackers, fibre one popcorn bar

Izadora well done on the fewer snacks and lots of veg 👍
Gingerlily very well done on that lovely loss 👏👏🥳
tighteningthebelt all very best wishes for your health, hoping all will be well
I think I may be getting over this cold or lurgy, I hope so. I went to a new-to-me farm shop which has gone from selling sacks of potatoes to setting up a butchery and selling produce from their own farm and other local farms. The proof will be in the eating, but it looks good.
Today’s food
B : porridge
L : jacket potato with baked beans; satsuma
D : cheese omelette with mixed veg; strawberries with half a tub of ice cream - that’s half of a 120ml tub, folks, not half a litre
S : four squares 85% dark chocolate
Wishing you all a lovely weekend.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

I should be creeping in under the cover of darkness. Biscuitgate has had its revenge and I have put back the 1 pound I lost last week.
Blue, half a litre of ice cream sounds about right. What's 60 grams? 2 teaspoonfuls?

Morning xx
I'm here to report a STS - and consider myself lucky that it wasn't a gain. However, on the positive side I have now established that returning to work after time off creates a 'danger zone' - knowledge is power
Bearing in mind that I have worked right through this pandemic I returned to work to find a new rule: workstation to be wiped down with anti bac twice a day and log that you've done it - ok; there's only me uses that desk but I'll go with that. Then we were all asked to sign a declaration to say that we will self screen for covid symptoms before we go to work each morning and we won't go to work if we have any symptoms. Been doing that since the pandemic began as has anyone with half an ounce of common sense don't you think? But the 'killer' email came just as we were leaving yesterday: from Monday we all have to wear masks unless we are alone in an office - lol. There are just under 200 people working from our building - have you ever played 'sardines'? We do our best but social distancing is almost impossible, and I work in the building which houses the swabbing team and health professionals working in the community - who are in and out all day. So I understand that we are high risk (I still think that I had the virus in March - but should soon know for certain as I am in line for the antibody test) but stable door and bolted comes to mind. That aside I've been awake half the night as this edict has pushed my buttons: I'm claustrophobic - so not sure how I'll cope with a mask on all day; I lip read (can't hear if I can't see your mouth syndrome); I spend most of the day on the phone to elderly patients who often struggle to hear me as it is, so a mask surely won't help. And why now and not twelve weeks ago???? Like I said - that horse has well and truly bolted.
You may be asking what has this got to do with losing weight? It is relevant, honest. (a) I've probably only STS because those stress hormones have been gobbling calories all night and (b) when I'm stressed I can go either way: lose my appetite altogether or eat for England. Plus I'm home alone and you are easy to talk to.
Ok, shoulders back, big girl knockers knickers on (monna - I've been sending patients to troage all week - definitely problems with my keyboard!!!) One day at a time and breathe.
Oh and then Dad phoned last night to say that he's had to go to the doctors because he can't stop shaking - spilled his cuppa. GP diagnosed high anxiety, Dad says it's not. Various tests done. Results next week.
Is there any sand anywhere? I'd bury my head but my claustrophobia would definitely not like that!!! Sorry to rabbit on.
Rxx

Hi Well Now while I have slightly lost track of the ++-- - it is a fact that since I started this challenge I have lost a total of 4 lb and looking at the last average ++ and --- I am reporting -3lb this week, which means I need to loose one more lb to meet challenge - so am pretty happy.
Not sure how to do colour, but I will have a salad celebration later. This week got me under the great big 80 which is what I wanted in the first instance. So the next target is to get under 12 stone! Im inclusive doing kg's and stones! That might be a goal for next quarter. Anyways, keep loosing it for a good cause.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
