Hello x
Dumpling well done on your brilliant weight loss and to all who have lost or STS. Keep positive to those who have gained or had a shock as regards weight x
SillyVixen Belated happy birthday to you x
Im doing ok did some baking for the men (hollow legs) yesterday but was very restrained and had one chocolate button which made me feel really sick - maybe cos Ive not had chocolate for ages?
Oh yes we planted some seeds this morning - they came free from M&S -we don't shop there but DH does my mother's shopping there. They are on the living room window sill in a propagator so will watch them grow.
Anyway love for a good Sunday x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.10 -
Funnily enough Cranky, I unpacked the 2 half packets I had left last week. Yes. If you remember, my DIL had sent away for a coldframe for my birthday It was great. Son No2 cleared a place in the garden for it and we awaited its arrival with bated breath. Unfortunately DIL had mixed up her centimetres and millimetres and the coldframe would have suited a small dolls house. You very kindly sent me 2 packets of mustard and cress seeds so that I would have something to grow in my minimini coldframe. I did grow half of each packet, though not in the coldframe. It was even too small for that. I must have packed the remainder of the seeds as I intended to move then. 4 years down the line they have reappeared.
I will see if they are still usable and let you know.
It's Sunday today so it's my treat day. Stand up that person who mentioned hazelnut chocolate eaten on a day that wasn't Sunday. I'll deal with you later.
Food so far is......
B: Weetabix, banana and raisins.
L: chicken breast wrapped in bacon, 2 roast potatoes, 1roast onion, carrots and peas. SF jelly and ice cream.
I may have a crumpet with jam for tea.
ETA. I did have a crumpet for tea with butter AND strawberry jam. Delicious.I believe that friends are quiet angels

It was planting the cress that made me remember Monna although I don't have a good memory for what year things actually happened. Fingers crossed they're still viable. I tend to just plant things and hope for the best. Mostly it works.....not all the time, but mostly8

Wow Dumpling great start to the challenge 👏 TTB maybe the good work will show next week 🙂 Blue Doggy line drawn under this week and Sherry bottle put away, todays food choices look good
Belated birthday wishes Sillyvixon I hope you had a good meal yesterday 🎂
Sirens both the carrot cake biscuits and biscottis sound very nice, which is why I have a weight problem 🙄
Blue last night I checked the emergency gin for any signs of tampering and found the 'adult Ribera' aka blackcurrant vodka vintage 2016 and had to sample it to ensure it hadn't gone off, I was accused of leading my sister astray by sending her a picture she had to have a vodka and orange to stop me drinking alone 😁
Roundtuit I don't eat raw celery but do cook with it a lot with it, used with carrot and onion as a base for a lot of dishes, I also like it braised or celery soup
i spent this morning in the garden planting more seeds, I'm hoping I will be able to get more compost as I may be pushing it with what I have left to plant on later. Most of the stuff I grow is in containers or tubs and I plan to plant the courgettes and runner beans where I had dog woods removed last year (just needs a weeding) I plant a lot to eat as salad including spinach and chard and eat the leaves of turnips and radish raw when i thin them out, as well as usual salad leaves, rocket and land cress. I was given fennel seeds this year so I'm hoping they will come up as I eat a lot of it. I nearly had a incident with the cat as I turned my back for seconds having left the cover off one of my large containers, all that nice bare soil 🙀, luckily I caught him before he was more than just inspecting it.
I cooked this afternoon, some rice stuffed portobello mushroom and beef tomatoes for a couple of lunches and roasted some squash when the oven was on to make either goats cheese and squash risotto or a tart this week. I stewed some rhubarb and strawberries which I like chilled and narrowly avoided making rhubarb and ginger scones 😐
L - LO meatloaf, watercress and cucumber in the garden
D - pork chop, cauliflower and broccoli cheese, French beans, roast parsnips
S - large slice of lemon drizzle cake thanks to another care package dropped off by my nephew, he knows it's my favourite and he also gave me some flapjack from my sister which I'll save until tomorrow

Morning xx
It's not working for me. I feel a fraud. I've changed my mind. Brambling - please update my 'whatchamacallit' with 4 x. I gained 4 pounds last week. Actually I think it was also a case of the previous two weeks also finally catching up with me. This month has been a disaster.... so far.
That feels better (bizarrely).

Draw a line under it and carry on Roundtuit xxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Honestly Roundtuit my weight goes up and down like a fiddlers elbow but as long as the general direction is down then I feel like I am winning. Please don't give up, we are living in very weird times at the moment and I, like you, try to cope with it by munching. I was very lucky to lose a lot this week but I don't know what will happen next week or the one after that. If I didn't have this group though I know I would go way off track as I feel a bit accountable to all of you. Is there anything we can do to help you?
My meals today are as follows:
1st b - fried egg sandwich (woke up very early due to anxiety)
2nd b - cornflakes and milk with a banana and an apple
l - cheese salad bagel and crisps
d - spaghetti bolognese
My dog is poorly and that is making me really worried and so today is going to be a munchy day. I will try and eat lots of veg and fruit so there won't be as much room for the rubbish. I just hope he gets better soon.
Hope you all have a great day, take care xx

Thank you Molly xx
Thank you dumpling xx I hope that your dog gets better soon too.
I didn't word my post very well - I knew what I was talking about and assumed the rest of the world were mind readers. (That happens in RL too). I felt a fraud for not declaring the weight gain - I was taking a 'pass' and hoping to get it off again this week. But that wasn't working for me - a great idea, but not for me. It's a learning curve.
I think I already have that feeling of accountability to the group - coupled with a tendency to beat myself up mentally, and wanting to belong. When you live with mh issues the world turning t!ts up really doesn't help.
I'm finding my way through the brain fog. One day at a timeOn a positive note I walked to the village c00p for my weekly shop yesterday. I just needed one pit-stop at a seat on the way back - maybe buying milk, beans and bananas to carry home with everything else was a little ambitious. Did it though
Hugs
