@tighteningthebelt I'm the same. I have been hovering around the overweight category for a while. Just crept into it and this time I'm determined to stay here and make it out the other side!
Thank you for all the warm welcomes, it feels great to have somewhere to share and find support with this.

Welcome Supersaver and Black_Saturn
we are a friendly if not occasionally mad bunch
I've added you the to chart weight in whenever suits you
Well done on the loss CrankyI'm assuming a mix of all that gardening and not being in sight of the kitchen to pick
I've drawn a line under the cheese etc for you Roundtuit and today is a fresh start, I know going into work was difficult for you and if you're like me you stress eat
Sillyvixen I know you have avoided scales for a long time, whatever the number just remember those size 14 shorts and hopefully the sun will be back before you're too small for them
Izadora my potatoes didn't make it into the saucepanI'm definitely eating due to boredom and restlessness, i did manage to avoid raiding the cupboards yesterday evening but it wasn't easy and i did lay in bed reading thinking of food
Today's not been too manic probably helped my only three of us working and not conference calls. My lunchtime walk was sidelined due to the rain which started as I walked down my path, so I gave my car a treat and took it for a run as it's not been driven for 2 weeks and then that was only a couple of miles. No queue at my local T Express so I popped in for milk on the way pass which will save me carrying back up from town tomorrow and a few 'non' essentials seem to have made it homeI know i shouldn't go shopping hungry. The rubbish is currently hiding under the stairs and hopefully won't be remember during the long weekend
B - Overnight oats with banana and blueberries
L- LO turkey meatloaf and salad
D - Salmon with new potatoes, runner beans, broccoli - not sure if i'll do anything with the salmon other than pan fry it
S - nothing not the night is still young
Stay safe all and have a good weekend

Edit....just realised I got this confused, we are in the same position (I'm a twerp!!!)
Black saturn... welcome and good luck on your goals. 🙂
Cranky great going! 🌻A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks9 -
I see we have lots of newcomers, jolly good, lots of new excuses that we can borrow. Welcome one and all.
I didn't come yesterday as I had intended. There was a reason for that. I was quite good all day but made the mistake of tidying up one of my kitchen cupboards. While I was sorting out my supply of cooking chocolate (I know, I know) I came across a bar that definitely wasn't of the cooking variety. Oh no. It was hazel nut milk chocolate. How it snuck in there I have no idea, but while I was mentally deciding where it should be put it disappeared. Honestly! One minute there and the next it was no more. The wrapper was still on the kitchen counter and on picking it up I noted the number of calories the bar had contained.
Reader, I fainted.
Well not fainted exactly, but certainly had a fit of the vapours.
I also felt vaguely sick. And had a horrid attack of heartburn.

Good evening everyone
Welcome Supersaver and Black Saturn 👋
Congratulations to CRANKY and to sillyvixen on your losses 👏👏
Brambling 😄 at the cartoon, we all need that sort of door control, for wherever we keep our secret emergency stashes.Izadora it sounds like your bigger dinner kept the munchies away. When the hour changed, Senior Doggy seems to have turned his clock the wrong way, still at least I was up and dressed in good time for my expected 7am grocery delivery (arrived 8.15).
roundtuit stuff happens, it’s a good thing tomorrow’s the other side of the line.
monnagran I always blame the pixies when things vanish, though yours seem to be careless about hiding the wrappers. They usually bring them back, but probably won’t with chocolate
No gardening today, we had rain which I hope will bring out lots of slugs and snails 🐌 🐌 🐌 for Hedgie. So I sat about and read a book instead, which feels quite decadent.
Blue Doggy doesn’t eat 🐌, so had
B : porridge
L : 1 glass sherry, hm soup, oatcakes with Marmite, apple
D : 1 glass sherry, steamed haddock, peas, carrots, fennel; cinnamon yogurt
S : 4 flapjack-type biscuits (cake all gone, wine all gone, biscuits will soon all be gone)

Oh Monna you do make me laugh xx
That's the end of my four days at work. Three days off now to get my house in order(ish). I want to get back into my rhythm and enjoy both, plus lose weight too. I seem to have dropped all my spinning plates - but that does tend to happen when I've been ill. So work is now spinning nicely- I just need to adjust to the free food that keeps being thrown in my direction. Note to self: there is no law that says the food cannot be brought home and given to DS!
Getting back on to the flylady wagon will set the house plate spinning, and I can reward myself by eating healthily. See what I did there? Turned it round so that healthy eating is a reward and not a penance.
Welcome to the newbies xx And love to all.

Haha, yes @tighteningthebelt I wasn't sure if I had written it very clearly. Yes I've just dropped down into overweight and hoping to keep going
so we are in same position.
ps well done on the weight loss too. My goal is to be in the normal BMI range. I'm hoping to be there by Christmas.
