Welcome Mistergazpacho 👋 I've added you to the bottom of the chart let me know if you want to set a target for the quarter, hopefully you will be able to access the scales by then 🙂
Wow Jules81 you're going great 👏 Monnagran 👏 for unexpected losses I find the best bet is to quickly jump off the scales before they change their mind, or that chocolate eating pixie steps on the back 🥺. Ditty difficult times for us all and I don't think you will be the only one with gains, today's a new week so no looking backward just keep plodding forward 🙂
Roundtuit I've no mules but a fluffy pair of pink boots I find make my legs too hot so happy to take aim, it wouldn't hurt as I'm not very good at throwing (yes I threw like a girl )
I was organised enough last night to do a freezer audit, menu plan and write a shopping list, pass the brassoMonna i then left the list at home this morning 🙄 I drove out to the farm shop I did remember most things on my list, added stuff not on it and in some cases really not required, potatoes anyone?
I went into town for slug death, my hostas are coming up and I would like some benefits of them before they disappear over night 🐌 🐌🐌. My salad leaves are also poking their heads out 🥗 and used the opportunity to pick up the remaining items (almost) as there was no queue in M&S. I acquired plain and wholewheat flour in the bakers (they are decantering from a large sack) my nephew benefited from the plain and I'm hoping I may benefit later from a baked goods care package 🙂. I have a invisible pixie, is it yours Monna? who follows me around SMs (not social distancing) and adds 'naughties' to my basket when I'm not looking 👀 today I came home with half price mini chocolate eggs from M&S 🤫 now in hiding with the gin

L - meatloaf sandwich, gherkins and half a bunch of watercress
D - there is rather a lot of chicken in my freezer so stir fry chicken and vegetables with rice - not sure what sauce yet
S - grapes & raspberries

@Brambling yes please
In total I want to lose three-four stone, so I think for this one my target should be 7lbs
Does anybody enjoy foraging? And growing their own food in pots?9 -
Oh dear best intentions out the window again, someone sew my mouth shut please, I need pixie repellent, It always starts well but then rapidly gets away from me after lunch, today I succumbed to a sausage roll and cheese and onion pasty 🙄, dd made carrot cake biscuits, it would have been rude not to taste them, unfortunately they were rather tasty.
Yesterday I made some sw biscotti to go with my afternoon coffee, just need to stick to one piece a day.
Well done on the losses Jules81 and Monnagran and warm welcome to MisterGazpacho and Black Saturn
Tomorrow I will be doing roast chicken and there is a blackforest gateau that needs eating as it's taking up precious space in my freezer, luckily I'll only eat the sponge and cherry part as I don't like cream, hoping to get my self back on track by Monday.'You have brains in your head. Good evening everyone
What a lot has been going on! I’ll have to work backwards to cover it all.
SIRENSthose pixies have a lot to answer for. Enjoy your chicken and cherries tomorrow.
Welcome MisterGazpacho 👋 It’s been a while since I grew my own veg, the year the tomatoes got blight and gave it to the spuds. But I’ve got some French and runner beans just germinated, and the tomatoes have popped up.
Brambling if you think you’ve got pixies you should mark the level of the gin in the bottle, they’re tricky folk. You’ll be able to tell if they’re monnagran’s pixies by their chocolate moustaches. I don’t think they eat potatoes though.
tighteningthebelt best wishes for your new/old regime, you did so well on it last time 👍
Cranky I hope you can persuade your sister to lose weight with you. Yes, cucumber probably betterdiet-wise than chips
.
ditty commiserations on your gain, hopefully your new “commute” will help sort it for next week
monnagran congratulations on your loss 👏 Today’s replacement for cake, wine, etc was painkillersfor arthritic hands and hip brought on by the wet weather
.
roundtuit go for it (damage limitation)! You can do itExcellent idea to make healthy eating your reward 👍
jules congratulations on your loss 👏👏 And (hugs) re the lockdown - it’s not a lot of fun, but we’ll get through it with the help of friends in the real and the online world
supersaver best wishes for achieving your goal
Now the Easter Feasting has ended, it’s back to normal, I’ve got a nice shiny new waggon to ride so I’ll just strap the safety harness on ...Dishes of the day were:
B : bacon and eggs
L : sardine salad (celery, chicory, watercress); 2 tangerines
D : Savoy cabbage leaves stuffed with some of the lentil & couscous mix from earlier in the week, peas, carrots; cinnamon yogurt; 1 square of chocolate“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Thank you @Blue_Doggy. Although I have just had a Saturday night roast and eaten far more than I meant to. Back on it tomorrow and will have my first weigh in next Saturday so have a few days to mend my ways. (It was blooming lovely though, and I had a jog today so earned a few extra mouthfuls).
ps my new dessert is digestive biscuits with cream cheese and a blob of jam. Around 150 cals a biscuit - its my own-style cheesecake. I bought the ingredients to make a cheesecake and then worked out the calories (shocked face) so this is a bit easier on the cals.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Good morning everyone
I am here to report a 6lb loss this week. I am amazed as I inhaled 2 family sized bars of chocolate over the past few days but the weight loss gods have been kind so it would seem. I am eating a lot more vegetables since buying a fresh fruit and veg box so that must have helped too, (plus the lack of takeaways).
Anyway, I am very pleased so will carry on now without the Cadbury's and hopefully shed a lot more flubber. Todays menu is likely to be:
b - Weetabix and a couple of slices of toast and marmite
l - might make another pan of spicy parsnip soup as that was a hit last time
d - toad in the hole, mash with carrots and green beans
s - apple, banana and melon
Hope you all have a great day today, take care xx

Wow dumpling xx Go girl
That is just what I needed to read to spur me on to greater things. Well done xx
Day 1 of damage limitation was successful - too much cheese but contained within three meals and included in calorie counting. There is now no cheese in the house - and I'm not going to buy any when I shop tomorrow. When did cheese turn into the new chocolate? Is it a 'ch' thing? Chocolate, cheese, chips - to be replaced with carrots, cucumber, and celery? (Spit - not celery at this house. I call it the spawn of the devil. Shuddering at the thought). Cauliflower then - I like cauli....tastes better in a cheese sauce though
Have a good day. Stay safe.

Good morning all,
Oh dear, I went drinking with my mates last night via Zoom. We also had a pub quiz. There was a lot of chat, a lot of laughs and a fair amount of alcohol. I think I need to draw another lineIt was good fun though and I'm still laughing this morning. I will mostly be behaving myself today. I've had banana on toast for breakfast and dinner this evening will be chicken and veg with a couple of roast potatoes but hopefully more veg that anything else. Not sure about lunch yet.....I have eggs but omelettes make me feel a bit queasy. I may need to have a rummage in the freezer.
Yesterday I planted cress seeds, chive seeds and some more lettuce. If they grow they will help with healthy eating and I also planted nasturtiums and sunflowers just because. Did you ever grow the mustard seeds that I sent you Monna? It was a long time ago......
Welcome to all the newbies and good luck. Take care all of you8 -
Dumpling that's fantastic, well done 💐
Silly vixen hope you had a lovely birthday 🎈
Well despite every effort (and the fact I was rumbly tummy hungry for most of the week) I report a disappointing stay the same. I will stick with the proposed plan of one meal a day this week and review next weekend. Grrr I am very frustrated, and feeling a bit out of control as I'm not in charge of the cooking just now.
D - corned beef hash with red cabbage. (Made by Dad) Unknown pudding - will edit later.
Edit; 2 choc ginger biscuits and half a banana.A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks9 -
Hi thanks for commisserations some choc and crumble happened last week. I am not happy. I checked my BMI and it's not good news. My BMI is 28 and its gone up from a solid 24/25 so that will be my end goal. Part of the problem is that as well as putting on weight I have also lost about an inch height. I'm not too fussed about BMI etc, but it's just an other motivator! So I might have to be a bit more ambitious here, but I'll give it an other few weeks and see what non radical measures I can take :-)Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
