Hello thanks for updating the figures Brambling x Well im going to report a loss of 0.5lbs oh well just plod on - bit disheartened as i been active and eating what Im supposed to 😔 Keep positive my friends and keep on keeping on - thats what I got to tell myself today x Well done on the losses xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.6 -
A loss is a loss Molly. And its definitely not a gain. I started nearly two weeks ago and joined the thread nearly a week ago - I'm doing more exercise and trying to keep to around 1500 calories but its such slow going. First official weigh in tomorrow and I am feeling a little disheartened today, but you're right, thank you, I need to keep positive and keep on keeping on
Edit. Lol, just reading about my Lindors and Pizza last night - whoops.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Just lost a long post. You are spared...breathe again. It just would not post, a big notice kept coming up with a big exclamation mark and telling me to wait a minute. I waited 10 minutes and tried numerous times to post, but it wasn't having any of it. Anyone else ever had that happen?I believe that friends are quiet angels

Well done Molly👏 Considering how stressful things were earlier on the week you've done well to lose weight 🙂 as you say all we an do is keep plodding along
Supersaver I would have done the same pizza than the chocolate 🙄. I've been sitting here determined not to eat chocolate tonight, I'm trying to go cold turkey. I boiled eggs for lunch tomorrow and just eaten one now and no it's not the same as chocolate but then I'm not hungry I just want chocolate.
Monna I was unable to get in the site for a while last night with same issue and then I could 🤔
I went retro yesterday and set some berries in sugar free jelly in the hope it will deter me from eating more unhealthy choices, I don't think I've eaten jelly since my nephews were small and they're in their mid 20s now, it needs a good vanilla or Cornish ice cream which I don't have
B - overnight oats, banana and raspberries
L - half stuff pepper with French beans Followed by jelly and berries
D - pan fried cod loin, mashed potato, asparagus and runner beansLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7 -
So exactly one week on and I can report a 1 lb first week loss. I must admit I am slightly disappointed as I have been running three times a week, walking and exercising, but on the other hand I did have pizza and chocolates the other night And a loss is a loss, if I can keep this up I will be a very happy bunny. My real success is not stuffing the whole box of lindor down in one go - it was a shock finding out they were 73 calories each! So I've managed to stick to 1, 2 or 3 a day, which is a miracle for me - this thread must be working its magicOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Good morning all,
Calling in to report a STS this week. Entirely my own fault - I made good food choices all week then ate everything that wasn't tied down yesterday. It was one of those days when my body was too tired to do much but my brain was wide awake if you know what I mean. Maybe the constant eating was my brain's attempt to encourage the body to keep up. It didn't work
So far today we've been for a walk along the prom and I also did a little bit of food shopping while the HT waited in the car. Excercise seems to be the key to a healthy eating day. We didn't go out yesterday because the HT was sore. We did do some sit ups in the house later on but it seems that outside in the fresh air is the one that counts.
supersaver if it helps I'm another one that would have eaten the pizza and then the chocolate.
Take care all of you7 -
Well done on your losses molly and supersaver 🤸♀️🤸♂️
Cranky STS is still great, it's not going backwards and thats the main thing 🙂
I'm reporting in to declare an apple and orange yesterday in addition to plan.
Today I'm having an orange, chicken fajitas made by DS and heaps of melon and ginger for pudding.
Have a good day all, enjoy the sunshine.A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks9 -
Afternoon All
well done on the loss Molly and Supersaver, and the sts is so much better than a gain Cranky, I too am struggling to stay on track, I start out good but completely loose the plot in the evenings. Yesterday I made craznac cookies with coconut and raisins, luckily dm was passing today on her way back from getting her shopping so I left some for her on my doorstep and she swapped me with some lovely fruit!
Whilst sorting out my bedroom I found one of those ball on a string things you know with a post that goes in the ground and you whack it with rackets. I must have bought it years ago for the kids and then forgot about it so going to give it a go in the garden this afternoon. Washed all my hand made scarves and hats and they are happily out on the washing line and I've done half an hour on the exercise bike, well done on the sit-ups Cranky, I can't do them even with someone holding my feet 😂'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Gosh, you energetic types tire me out. All I can do is totter along on my ancient legs and occasionally exercise my arms by waving my walking stick wildly at passing joggers. Come now, dry those eyes. I appreciate the sympathy.
Oooh, Sirens, Swingball! I remember playing that with my boys back in the 70s. It was the only ball game I could ever play.
Cranky, glad you have a prom to walk on, (tiddley om pom pom.) You do feel that walking by the sea is healthy, and DOING YOU GOOD, don't you.
Brambling, sugarfree jelly is my salvation. The lemon and lime one is gorgeous and if you have a little stewed apple to set in it, it is even more gorgeous and can even trick you into thinking that you are eating something very naughty.
I bet you are all dying to know what I've been eating. Well, I've been pretty sensible this week. That is, sensible for ME, but it is WI tomorrow so I am being ultra sensible today.
B: 1 slice of toast and marmalade.
L: 4 crisbreads. 2 boiled eggs. Bowl of SF jelly. Yes, it was lemon and lime, but without the apple.
And that's it for today.I believe that friends are quiet angels
